the three chapters i read on this book were exactly what i was looking to know:

1. what are the rules of the JavaFX script language
2. how binding works
3. an guide to using the basic gui library

i now am completely ready to start writing JavaFX code. unlike the tutorials you will find on the web this book tells you the rules of how it works, not just provide examples.
