Morgan Hunt is a Viet Nam vet rescued from a prison sentence by the intersession of attorney Nat Semmes, for whom he now works as intermittent investigator. He finds a boy who has run away from a boys home and then is drawn into a brutality lawsuit brought against the ex-football player running the home by a psychopathic ex-resident and an opportunistic lawyer.
