The world population has reached epidemic proportions. With amazing advances in medical science, people are now living longer than ever. Whilst this is fantastic news for the human race, it also presents big problems to our infrastructure. Overcrowding...long waiting lists for medical treatment...huge costs to our welfare system.

Future Genix has teamed up with governments in the United Kingdom, and other countries around the world, to create a solution to this problem.
Welcome to The Funnel.
Once we reach the age of 70, we are transported to a mystery destination, where all of these worries become a thing of the past. The journey starts in The Funnel, where passengers are transported to their destination. Once they arrive, they can live out their retirement in beautiful surroundings. Healthcare is available on demand, and to the highest standards. Hobbies and leisure pursuits are all readily available. They can keep in touch with their family members whenever they want to via hologram – almost as if they were in the same room.
The Funnel has revolutionised our society...until Fred begins his journey, and discovers all is not quite as it seems...
