Curiosity did not kill the cat...it rewarded her. Tia Clarkson took a job after school to save money to escape her abusive home life. Luck was on her side when she was hired to work for Victoria Withers. Tia was mesmerized by her new boss. The older woman was rich, powerful, and gorgeous. She was everything Tia wanted to be in life. Working as a maid for the billionaire, the job came with plenty of perks. Those of the forbidden kind. It all started with a kiss, then blossomed into so much more. Victoria was a very generous employer. She attended to every need of the young girl, giving her everything she craved. Attention. Love. Freedom.
This should honestly be pulled. Like what were you thinking Honey!? This gives The LGBTQ+ community, the kink community and age gaps a bad name and perpetuates very harmful lies. This book is full of pedos and it's disgusting. Pedophile teachers and a pedophile boss that takes her to a pedophile restaurant and has a pedophile playroom. Dnf'd at 54 pages because I'd had enough. I was going to finnish so I could drag it with receipts but I'm going to do that. And listen, if I would have read this book when I was 16 I probably would have liked it and been like yes that's my dream, older women! But as a fucking adult...and this book was written by and catered towards adult women... Ya'll got me messed tf up. Our main character is 16 years old was molested as a child by her abusive mothers older woman friend and taken advantage of by multiple adults. Shes slept with not 1 teacher but 2 that have been mentioned. She says she can't remember the last time she slept with a man and then recalls that it was her gym teacher so she was what 14 or 15 when that happened since it was so long ago that she can barely remember? What the fuck!? And not y'all in the reviews saying this is an "extreme age Gap or taboo" this shit makes age gaps look bad, this makes Kink look bad and it makes lgbtq+ Community look bad and is perpetuating the lies that certain Kinks (md/lg, age regression and little space) equal pedophilia or that gay equals pedophiles. What is this the 90's!? I heard that shit growning up. "Oh they're gay don't leave them with your kids." It's a harmful as fuck lie that she encourages in this fucking book. This girl needs therapy not another fucking adult taking advantage of her.
from starting the book with a "smut" scene where a teacher is extorting the 16-year-old fmc with sexual favors in exchange for grades, to finding out her mother's best friend abused her as a kid with the pretense of teaching her how to pleasure herself and others (grooming), and finishing it with her getting a new "mommy" which was her boss that preyed on her vulnerability (not only age, but also economic status), whom after their first time together picked her at school and took her to a restaurant that catered to rich abusers. this isn't forbidden/taboo, it's illegal.
HUGE age gap, so know that going into this (like one that could make lots of people uncomfy). Literally no plot minus the fact that Tia’s mom is hella abusive. This is also told in third POV which honestly sucks lol.
When I picked this up I didn’t realize the main character was in high school and the other woman was thirty years her senior. This was 100% a grooming situation and I wish I hadn’t read it.
...check trigger warnings on this one....do not read if you are easily offended ✅age gap ✅taboo....um, VERY taboo ✅filthy, including a scene for the voyeurs (we're up to at least 3.5 stars right there) Honey Chanel and K Webster need to do a book together..... i will happily read the ARC and give an honest review.... OOHHH NNOOOO, HONEY- you left me hanging on what happened to Tia's siblings..... DAMN..... well, other than that detail this was good. I'll definitely read book 3. I like how the characters from book 1 popped up in book 2.
This is book is about the sexual encounters between a mid-forty year old female pedophile and a 16-year-old girl, a junior in high school. The pedophile is the girl’s employer. There is an almost 30 year age difference between the two main characters. The book is filled with graphic sexually explicit experiences between the main characters. The pedophile takes the minor to a restaurant the clientele is a group of pedophiles. The older woman gives the minor several glasses of alcohol. The drunken minor is now even more compliant to the sexual wants of the pedophile. The sexual scenes are morally abhorrent and perverted. The pedophile preys on a minor who lives in poverty and was sexually molested by an older woman at a young age. The girl is beaten repeatedly by her mother. After the last beating the girl flees to her “protector” who then buys the girl from her mother. The pedophile tells the girl she now owns her. The book incorrectly infers the pedophile/minor theme is the same as a little girl/mommy domme BDSM relationship. The author should have researched the l/g/m/d dynamic better.
This book feeds homophobic lies about the homosexual/queer community. In this world queers are sexual predators who recruit children. Homophobes use lies like these and others to justify laws denying civil rights and freedoms to members of the LQBTQ+ communities. I must wonder at the intentions of Ms. Chanel.
The ebook and paperback should be pulled from publication.
I read the first book and thought it was pretty good, so I continued on to this one and went in completely blind. I really wish I would've read the reviews or at least the book description on this one because it just wasn't it. This book made me feel icky for reading it. The MC is 16 and is sleeping with her 40 year old boss. She mentions that she has been SA'd by multiple adults throughout her childhood, teachers, family friends etc. This entire book is about an older woman grooming a teenager. Nothing about it was hot or taboo. This is about a pedophile taking advantage of a young girl. she takes her to a pedophile restaurant, where there are other adults grooming and SAing young minors. It really gives the taboo romance world a bad name.. this isn't age gap or kink.. its just pedophilia plain and simple.
This was a hard review because it isn't a bad short story, the kinks (that were the main focus of the book) just were not for me. With an erotica you know going in there won't be much for plot which is the name of the game, but this still seemed to have a storyline deep down. I do think it's important to know going in that this is an age gap involving a minor (something I did not know) so keep that in mind!
Listen. I’m gay. I’m in to kink and monster romance and a lot of weird shit. 16 and 40s. Not okay. Adding in a mommy kink when she’s abused by her mom. It’s grooming. I’m not one for a negative review but this was a HARD NO.
the main character being 16 and the love interest being in her 40s is a huge no. this one had no plot other than tia having an abusive mom (who she left her siblings with?)
Eh, the writing isn't great. The plot is moderately uncomfortable and the smut was...well smut. At this point, I read it to boost my completed books number.
Soon as I read the mc being 16 I DIPPED!! Honestly wtf?? How can you be okay writing a smutty novella with such a predatory age gap? Definitely won’t be reading this author’s other works
Horrible Lesbian representation Horrible age gap representation Horrible kink representation And hell, horrible WOMAN representation!!
