Yup! There's nothing I could ever want more than for Nikka to be their ally! Yes! I kind of felt that in volume 5 when he indirectly let Ryangha escape! Teehee! Anyway, thanks to his rebellious phase though, I'm beginning to like him!
By the way, so MIFA IS A GIRL?! When did that happen?! I was so freaking shocked to the core when I saw her wearing a dress! That was a hilarious scene by the way!

Their dynamic is actually interesting combined altogether, please please I want these 4 more actions.

Quand on est là comme moi pour lire une histoire pleine d’action avec des échanges de tirs, de sombres histoires de familles, des camps flous… on ne peut que se régaler. C’est un divertissement dark des plus efficaces. Fe a su trouver l’alliance entre action, romance et humour, sans que ce dernier l’emporte et gâche tout, sans que la romance face tout ramollir et sans que l’action fasse cheap. Chaque élément est à sa juste place.
Dans ce tome, la traque de Chateau se poursuit. Elle est cachée puis en cavale avec Song Ryong-ha et leur relation s’approfondit. Il est aussi question de la trouble famille dont elle est originaire où on a été obligé la mort de son père quand même, ça en dit long, sachant que le patriarche a tout d’un parrain de la mafia, lui. Alors forcément l’ambiance est sombre, mais l’humour qu’insuffle régulièrement l’autrice permet également de rendre le tout digérable. On n’est pas dans une course sans fin à qui a le plus de testostérone comme parfois. C’est plus fin, plus subtile. Il y a donc des secrets de famille. Il y a des organisations qui s’affrontent. Il y a des gens sous couverture. Il y a des changements de camps venant tout complexifier et c’est jouissif à lire.
Jouissif car c’est très bien rythmé. On alterne les petits clins d’oeil à la romance à la vie à la mort de Ryong-Ha avec les scènes où tout pétarade. On découvre comme Chateau échange via un chat de RPG avec ses collègues, tandis qu’ensuite on rencontre un tueur à gages fou en pleine ville. Ces décrochages font tout le charme de la lecture, ça et les scènes d’action vraiment trépidantes où l’autrice utilise ce qu’il a pu croiser de mieux dans les films d’action et d’espionnage / mafia. La scène de l’hôtel mais surtout celle dans le parc avoisinant en sont des modèles, sans oublier le choix final concernant Chateau qu’innocemment je n’avais pas vu venir et que j’ai trouvé osé pour Ryong-Ha.
Bilan, alliant l’action des débuts avec les révélations familiales qu’il y a eu ensuite, sans oublier l’essence romanesque de la série, cette suite sombre et survitaminée me plaît énormément par son action, sa noirceur, ses turpides mais aussi ses moments de relâche quand l’incrédulité casse un peu le côté trop sombre et violent. C’est un dosage qui me convient à merveille !

I'm SO here for the Nikka team-up, honestly, haha.
It would really be nice if Chateau could do anything useful. Any time she's involved in a fight, she's knocked out, has to be saved, is injured terribly, or any combination of those. Come onnn. How did she ever become a bounty hunter when she's this awful? Like I really wanna root for her as a main character, but she's so frustratingly useless.
The bonus chapter was really cute. Ryang-ha as a bard, sending a million friend requests, hahaha.

Nikka is such a Song fanboy. (灬º‿º灬)♡ haha
This title keeps getting better - at and story. After the first volume, I really wasn't too sure, but I'm hooked now. It seems like everyone is unkillable. 🤣 Great action scenes and I love the out of character drawings the mangaka does of the cast.

Dos assassins a sou amb un passat ple d'incògnites i una connexió entre ells molt misteriosa. Un thriller ple d'acció i dos protagonistes amb una química espectacular (chiquito prota ♥♥♥). Té dosis d'humor, de drama i, el més important, els girs de guió que fan que no sigui la típica història. 100% recomanable! Sèrie inacabada amb anime també inacabat ^^'
