Are you worried about the impact bullying can or will have on the child(ren) you love? Almost half of the children being bullied never report it. Could yours be one of them? Join the K.L.U.B. - No Bullying Allowed is a beautifully illustrated story that opens the door for family discussions on this important topic. In this book #2 in The Little Labradoodle series, our lovable misfit can’t wait to meet new friends. Instead, he is faced with bullying from a group of dogs who invade his space, tease and laugh at him, making Brady feel sad and alone at the park. Brady doesn’t give up. He is successful in making new friends and introduces a big “Let’s unite in a club with no bullying allowed. where everyone’s welcome,” the little pup vowed. “We can’t allow bullies to make us feel small. If we all stand together, we can be brave one and all.” Children ages 4-8 will enjoy the beautiful illustrations and empathize with the lovable puppy. Kids learn actionable steps to create a safe space where all are welcome, and no bullying is allowed. What are others saying? "Bullying is a necessary topic to be explored with children. The behavior can have a huge impact on both those being bullied and those doing the bullying. Introducing this topic early on (prior to middle school) allows understanding and empathy, inclusion and perspective-taking to occur BEFORE it becomes a huge issue and can reduce the development of it. This book is helpful for parents, teachers, guidance counselors, and psychologists to help introduce the topic, promote the development of an understanding of why it happens, and to reach tangible tools to deal with bullying in an empathic and community-building way. I highly recommended The Little Labradoodle Series”. Dr. Stacy Zlotnick, Clinical Psychologist "I was looking for a book that could be used as part of my bullying prevention program at school. Join the K.L.U.B. – No Bullying Allowed is the perfect complement and allows us to talk about the characters in the context of what we are learning. I highly recommend it! " – Alicia S, Teacher "My Autistic son really loves The Little Labradoodle series. As a child who has issues with fine motor skills, he identifies with being bullied and excluded. The companion coloring/activity book challenges him. He is coloring and even writing stories. I am so happy!" -- Diana, Mother of 2 Parents, teachers, and homeschoolers - grab your copy of the book. Join the K.L.U.B. is the story of Brady the labradoodle who gets bullied for being different which make sure him sad but then he discovers other animals like him and they start their own club where no bullies are allowed.
This is a nice story and it's great how the animals get together and empower themselves by starting a club but I don't think this gives many practical solutions for readers who may be in the same situation. Kindness may help with bullies but it's not that easy and making a club is not practical for children nor would they likely have the confidence to do so if they had low self esteem because of the bullying. It's great this worked out for the animals in the story and they learnt how important it is to be kind but I prefer practical solutions as well as books are an easy way to get them thinking and talking about what they could do in the situation.
The illustrations are fantastic and it's fun to see a range of animals and different kinds of dogs. I really liked how we got to see so clearly how they other animals were feeling from their facial expressions.
This is a good story but I think it could have been even better if it suggested ways you could stand up to a bully or explained more why they bully in the first place.
🐶Extremely talented author April is back with her stunning writing and worthy story. It again puts light on one of the most important topic: bullying, bullying is really bad and almost many of us go through it in school and at many phases of our life. We are not even able to express about how we feel while going through it. This is such a great children's book with a well portraited and relatable character Brady, he builds in courage in little kids who are going through it, it teaches, many of us are in the situation where Brady is but the way he handles it will inspire many children. Their club, definitely is the need of time, it also teaches them to stand against the injustice and on the other hand teaches to be more kind to all. Also, kuddos to the beautiful illustrations it's filled with, my heart has already been melted. .
This is the best children's book to get for your kids and kids around you. Definitely something that should not be missed out. Loved the concept. . Rating: 4.8🌟
A disclaimer: I won this as part of the good reads give away program. Though I'm not a children's book read usually, I saw this book and its content and became intrigued. I entered the giveaway and won so I am obligated to give an honest review.
I wish this book existed when I was a child and more books like this. This book tells a story of a bullied dog and a bystander who comes to the rescue. They form a group with a special pact not to bully others. I love the concept of a bystander stepping up and think this is a great message to convey. I also love K.L.U.B. part at the end where readers can make a pact to be kind and not bully and make their own clubs.
This is a fantasic children's book that every parent should buy. It doesn't hsve the most flowerly language but it certainly has a strong message.

Brady the Labradoodle loved his new home and he loves the park and it's many new surprise friends. He saw, he thought, New friends. "Go Away, No Doodles!". Then he got a growl and a bite. She's came up and chased them away. A cat came up and said he was teased too. He said people think he is mean and won't let him play. A Dachshund was teased because he was long. A bird without a song. What did they do? Where did they go? Read/listen and a beautiful story will come forth. I received this ARC (Advanced Readers Cooy) for an honest review. All my reviews are honest and I honestly think bullying, no matter what kind, is wrong. How to create your own K. L. U. B. is in the back including membership cards. Yipee!!
I would not read this book to a child. Why? It is like the book "The Outsiders". It teaches kids class levels. The good and the bad and you better stick with 'your kind'. Telling a adult doesn't work. That puts a giant sign in their back. I think the author needs to take some lessons from Mr. Miyagi from the movie "The Karate Kid".....The original. He teaches Daniel self confidence, standing up for himself and if someone tries to hurt you, how to defend yourself. I do not recommend this book, especially for children. This book only gathers the children into a little group so it is easier for the bullies to yell and degrade them all at once. 1 star for content. 5 Stars for the artist.
“Join the K.L.U.B. - No Bullying Allowed”, A Children's Picture Book Empowering Kids to Make a Difference (The Little Labradoodle 2) is a well written and beautifully illustrated book that introduces bullying to kids ages 3-7, it teaches empathy and positive behavior, it also inspires volunteerism, encouraging kids to make a difference, build friendship that will ultimately improve their social skills. This book supports a safe / welcoming climate and complements other bullying prevention programs as well.
Adorable! My niece and I really enjoyed this book for many reasons! I love how the author explored the concept of bullying in a unique yet overarching way - it was educational and the characters are all so relatable. LOVE the idea of K.L.U.B. and the positive spin that will hopefully encourage more kids (and parents) to embrace differences and be more empathetic at a young age. A great read!
Beautiful rhyming picture book, with a fun pacey text that includes a really important message. The cute story weaves it's way brilliantly through the tricky subject of bullying and how to make a stance against it. A must read and perfect for homes and the classroom.
Kindness Love Unity Bonding what a fantastic motto to teach not just children but the world! This books teaches children about how you can be bullied in different ways, and how speaking up and sticking together helps! How kindness, love, unity and bonding triumph! (KLUB =klub Against bullying!)
What a fun way to teach kids about bullying and how to deal with it. This book teaches if you're bullied you should never feel alone. It also helps kids see the impact of bullying and of standing up to it.

This is a great book for classrooms or family activities! The story about no bullying is well written. The illustrations are beautiful. Beautiful teaching moments throughout the book. Shows how kindness and friendship can overcome adversity.
This is such a great book about bullying and the importance of kindness. Read this to my niece and she loved the dogs and the illustrations are fantastic!
Lovely story to teach about bravery and being a leader. I loved how everyone came together at the end. This story is a good way to show children that bullying is not okay and we are better together. Perfect story to share during anti-bullying month
A beautifully illustrated rhyming book showing how kindness, love, unity and bravery makes for better persons. The book is also well written and well plotted. Any one enjoying dogs will love this story – a bunch of them pick on a little new puppy. The end up making a KLUB where no bullying is allowed. Author also provides instructions on how to start your own club, membership cards, a couple pictures to color.
I love every details of the story. Its a great way how to tell kids not to bully.
The illustrations are alive and I love it. The words used by the author are great for a reader who’s first language is not english. Words are easier to understand.
