An excellent read.

I loved this book, which is the third in the Apocalypse series. The youngsters are realising that they are in a nitty gritty situation and they have no parents or anyone who is going to step in and take responsibility for them. Each person is now coming into their own and learning what they are able to do where their weakness lies because they all have to contribute to the pack. The first main group don't know about the other two, and I think at some point, there will be problems within the second and third. They are relatively short books and I really do recommend giving them a try. I still have another six books to read in the series. Worth a read.

So I'm leaving a review ahead of release day. Blood, sweat and tears went into this third installment, and I'm so excited for you all to read it. This series has been so much fun to write, and it keeps my love of writing alive. I'm giving myself and Laura five stars here because no matter how others perceive the story, it'll always fill my heart with love, and that's worthy of five stars in my eyes! We hope you enjoy reading it as much as we've enjoyed writing it!!! <3

The third book in the wonderful Apocalypse series wastes no time picking up from where its predecessor left off, throwing the students head on into an absolute bloodbath against the looming rotter horde. Being hopelessly outnumbered and overwhelmed, each paragraph is gut-wrenching with close calls and nail-biting near misses. The authors make the most of the aftermath, further exploring and deepening the already interesting characters, strengthening their bonds (and in some cases, their animosity)!!

An excellent read, can't wait for the next!

Overview: I've been so excited to read this third book ever since finishing the second. This book picks up straight after the second and straight into the action. The first few chapters I literally devoured because I needed to know what was going to happen. So much gore (gotta love a good zombie squishing!) Some new characters are introduced as well as getting to know the old ones a little more. It's a short book (more a novella than a novel) so easily readable in one sitting.

Good Points: Now we are at the third book it's easy to read and already know a lot about the characters. I felt that the writing was a lot more "showing" rather than "telling" in this book, which is great and really emerses you in the action.

Not so Good Points: I really need to know how the zombie apocalypse started! It's the one thing that is missing so far, but I know there are more books so am looking forward to finding our further (hopefully!) I do feel at times that characters could be more developed, especially newer ones. These books are not plot heavy. It's mainly teenagers attempting to escape zombies, but oh what fun it is!

Already looking forward to the next book in this horror series! If you need some quick horror reads then definitely check these books out.

Chaos is the third book in the Apocalypse series by Hayley Anderton & Laura Swift. Chaos started out with a bang with our heroes fighting zombie after zombie. I was definitely on my seat at the beginning with all this zombie fighting and not knowing who was going to come out alive. It was a blast.

I love how everyone worked together to fight the rotters. I also love the kind of people the characters all are. They are kindhearted people who are always looking out for each other.

Chaos tells the stories of more than one character. I loved how easy it was to know when the story changed from one character to another without missing a beat. As I mentioned Chaos is the third book in the Apocalypse series and I have had the pleasure of reading all three and I must say loved each and every one. Each book is unique in its own way. Each story just gets better and better the more I read.

I love the world that has been created for this zombie-fighting world. The descriptions were done so well that I had no problem seeing it all play out before my eyes. I could feel the emotion coming from each character.

I love zombies and would like to recommend Chaos to any other zombie lover out there. Grab your copy of Chaos today for an action-filled world of the undead!

This a well-written and easy-to-read cozy zombie apocalypse story about young adults and teenagers surviving in a new and dangerous world. It seems like they're barely hanging on to their survival with their pinky fingers, or maybe that is just me. So now that we have all the players figured out, we jump right into it. I mean, a zombie horde, blood guts, gnashing teeth, and bodies everywhere. I don't want to give anything away, so I will stop there.
This a great zombie book. I love the authors writing style; that is not overly graphic but with enough description to understand what is going on. The characters are young and kinda snarky, which I enjoy. I see bad things coming up for the characters that are in the next book. (No, I haven't read it yet). So, an exciting and entertaining plot throughout the series. I am going to be sorry when this series ends.

Another gripping installment of the Apocalypse series! I love diving deeper into the characters and seeing their relationships blossom under pressure. I’m always so impressed with the pacing of these books - the authors know how to strike exactly the right balance between fast fight scenes and quiet comfort. Ginge is forever my favourite character - I adore those who carry the weight of the world on their shoulders but remain fighters through and through, and the fact she gets to be vulnerable with Warren is even more rewarding. My favourite part about this one though was the exploration of queerness in coming-of-age characters, spanning from bi and lesbian to ace rep. If you love action-packed horror with a strong and diverse cast of leads, blood and gore, and a message of hope and community at the heart of hopelessness, definitely pick up this series!

Chaos, book 3 in the Apocalypse series by Hayley Anderton and Laura Swift, hits the ground at a bloody undead run and doesn’t let up. I read this story in one sitting. It’s full of action, tension, and the kind of dread you feel in your gut.

Although Chaos has more action and more zombies than the first two books in the series, it stays true to the authors’ original style and premise of being about people, about the coming together and falling apart that reflects human nature during a time of crisis. The characterization and character interactions remain strong, engrossing, and evocative.

Step away from things for a bit and immerse yourself in the Chaos of the Apocalypse. Just remember these books are not stand alone, so be sure to read book 1, Apocalypse, and book 2, Fallout, first.

Was really excited to continue this series and reconnect with my favorite characters from the first two books. Chaos opens with fighting right from the start and the action never lets up as our gang takes down hordes and hordes of zombies. Edge of your seat scenes.

A very fast read however as this is the third book of the series I feel you would benefit by reading them in order to get a good understanding and character connection. I myself had to go back and refresh a bit to remember who was who and where they were located.

I'm super anticipating the next part....am anxious to see if

I'm enjoying the 2 stories mixed in and the on edge feeling I keep getting, it's definitely the typical zombie book but it has the twists I like to keep me interested
One thing I'm not a huge fan of is Ross or Typical "I'm the king" just really grinds my gears and I don't know why

This is another tense and action-packed installment of Hayley Anderton’s Apocolypse series, and we’re thrown right into the thick of it from the very start.

While this is a very short book, and I’d have liked for there to be more, the suspense is palpable throughout, and I enjoyed the raising of the stakes for the different parties involved. The big fight against the rotters - which takes up around half of the book - was tense and exciting, and Hayley shifts POVs expertly to keep us on our toes.

As before, I did struggle with the large cast of similar characters, with a couple standing out more than others, but it was good to see relationships develop further and even a couple of romances blossoming.

Hayley has done it again and left me wanting more with the final couple of scenes, and I will be getting the next book to see what happens next!

Book three to the Apocalypse series kicks straight off with an intense battle as the group at the farm sees a huge hoard of Rotters infiltrate their safe space.

We also get an insight into how the other group of survivors are getting on whilst having brief introductions to new characters.

This is a quick read that sets up the next part nicely, personally I can't wait to see if the various groups end up meeting again and what will happen if they do!

Highly recommend this series for zombie fans!

As mentioned in a previous review these books are not standalone so be sure to check out Apocalypse and Fallout first!

This series keeps getting better and better. They're such fast-paced, quick reads that I feel like I'm flying through them. The stakes are higher than ever, there are some cute romances on the horizon, and the dialogue in these books is punchy and witty. Even though he's acting like a bit of an arse at the moment, I LOVE Luke, and I'm so intrigued to see where his story goes.
No one is safe in this series, so I'm trying not to get too attached!

From the very start this book is page turning and I felt eager to know what happened next. The first several chapters hold a good fight scene that's full of action and detail. I felt like I could really see what was going on around the characters. I'm enjoying this series and I'm ready to read the next book!

Book 3 and I’m still enjoying this series! A lot of similar ideas in this particular one to The Walking Dead but I don’t mind that, it almost makes it a comforting read.
I really hope that the groups get to find each other at some point in the series. The epilogue was interesting and it was nice to see the bakery boys again especially with their plastic baguette weapon! On to book 4……
