Enhancing Influence and Negotiation Skills by Wesley Donahue is a brilliant guide for people in leadership to enhance their Influence and negotiation skills effectively. The backbone of any organization is a good leadership and the tools and resources it can provide for it teams play an important role. The author explains in detail the importance of equipping oneself with good negotiation skills and having the ability to influence positive changes to happen without directly forcing them. This guide contains various critical topics such as how leaders can use negotiation and influence, understanding the process, analyzing, building to grow business and organizations. One can benefit with the wealth of information provided.

I find the author's books very informative, and the learning process is so much easier. The author takes time to explain each topic in detail and never rushes with his words. In business world especially for leaders it matters a great deal to be able to negotiate and influence deals and agreements and this guidebook explains in detail how it can be achieved effortlessly. Highly recommended for structured learning with key concepts which can be mastered thoroughly.

Educational and educational empowering!

I have been a fan of Dr Donahue and "Enhancing Influence and Negotiation Skills". I can say it is as good as the previous books by him that I have read. It strengthens the idea of knowing how to attack a problem and negotiate your way out of it. Influencing people is a gift but a skill that can be learnt. This book is easy to follow and well written enough to be understood. I have learned that knowing how to negotiate and influence the situation not only depends on your knowledge about the topic or the other person or company you are negotiating with, but it also depends on how you present your case. Active listening and managing conflict are some issues I have encountered in the past but through the activities, references and the guidance of this book, I feel that I might be able to slowly and gradually overcome that problem more and more.

Enhancing Influence And Negotiation Skills speaks for itself only by reading the title. Wesley Donahue, the author, writes about the effectiveness of negotiation, and how to achieve better results in a positive manner. In order to succeed, there are several steps a good leader should follow both inside and outside the team, to triumph in negotiations.

This is the third book I read from Donahue, and I can tell he puts a lot of dedication while writing. The concepts are developed in an easy-to-understand way, and the process and the results achieved are detailed, using examples and his own experience as well. A book made for leaders who want to improve that important aspect in the business world.

“Enhancing Influence and Negotiation Skills” is the last book in the Competency-Based Workbooks for Structured Learning series, by Wesley Donahue.
With the final goal of achieving effective influence and negotiation, this volume offers (same as previous ones in the saga) a research-based, proven and positive model to follow. It is specially aimed to leaders, offering the knowledge and tools to make a difference in their teams or organizations. But I think it can be useful and valuable for anyone who tries to make an impact on others. All in all, this is a great book about leadership, that can not be missed by those developing that role, no matter the area business or the kind of organization.

Dr. Wesley E. Donahue is a goldmine of information and his book, Enhancing Influence and Negotiation Skills does not disappoint.
Building from the wildly successful competency-based model, Donahue expertly outlines the key components to achieving success in the workplace. The book is actually in a workbook format with thought provoking exercises which I found incredibly helpful to being able to implement in earnest the lessons contained in the book.
Donahue’s natural and easy to follow writing style is perhaps the greatest strength of the book and is one that has made me a fan of his work.
Overall, an incredibly insightful and helpful book, Enhancing Influence and Negotiation Skills is a must read for anyone wanting to obtain lasting success in their career.

“Enhancing Influence and Negotiation Skills” by Wesley Donahue is an extremely useful book and guide that provides literally everything you need if you want to succeed as a business person. If you want to become a leader or maybe you already are one and you just want to improve your skills, then this is definitely the right book for you. It will not only teach you positive influence strategies and many other techniques that will help you negotiate efficiently and the way you want to. But it will also teach you a lot about yourself, your personal skills, strengths and weaknesses. This is an immensely important aspect that is more than needed. In my opinion, you need to really know yourself if you want to succeed. All in all, I can really recommend this book!

An Open-minded reading
"Enhancing Influence and Negotiation Skills” is an open-minded and interesting book penned by Wesley Donahue.
It's definitely a must for people who work for a company or own a business, particularly for leaders. In every chapter, you will find ways to cope with negotiation, weaknesses, strengths, goals and influence at work. But the idea that the writer highlights is the positive interaction and confidence among people in this field as well as the positive leadership.
It´s well-developed, concise, interesting and very simple to understand. I found the author's ideas easy to understand since his style is simple and clear; I learned new concepts and strategies. All in all, as I said before, this reading is a must!

Enhancing Influence and Negotiation Skills by Wesley Donahue is the key point to succeed, of that, I'm sure. While reading this book, I realized that people influence and negotiate all the time, but they are not always successful. As soon as I read the description of the book, I knew it was a must for me. 'Influence is the power to cause changes without directly forcing them to happen'; this quote is key. This competency-based workbook will help me examine my influencing skills. Wesley Donahue writes about the effectiveness of negotiation and how to achieve better results in a positive manner. I recommend this book to anyone who is in search of a good guide to reach successful results.
