After kissing his boss, a client and his roommate all in one day, Simon finds that his love life is about to heat up. Getting a beautiful man to look Simon’s way is usually the hard part, but that’s before he breaks his own set of rules—his ‘off-limits’ list that keeps him sane and stable. In a single day, he kisses his boss, a client and his not-so-straight roommate. Maybe Simon is a greedy boy who sees the best in them, but he can’t help but want all three of them in his heart and his bed. Yet beauty can be deceiving. One man betrays him, leaving him with the devil and the devil’s worst enemy. Simon’s first priority is keeping them from killing each other, but when lives are threatened and the city turns against him, it may become an impossible task.
M.C. Roth lives in Canada and loves every season, even the dreaded Canadian winter. She graduated with honours from the Associate Diploma Program in Veterinary Technology at the University of Guelph before choosing a different career path.
Between caring for her young son, spending time with her husband, and feeding treats to her menagerie of animals, she still spends every spare second devoted to her passion for writing.
She loves growing peppers that are hot enough to make grown men cry, but she doesn’t like spicy food herself. Her favourite thing, other than writing of course, is to find a quiet place in the wilderness and listen to the birds while dreaming about the gorgeous men in her head.
This was not the best start for 2023. It started off pretty good; Simon was definitely naive, but in a way that was sweet and earnest. I was genuinely charmed and entertained. But by the end, Simon was just ridiculous, his naivety having escalated into a complete lack of self-preservation, and an odd form of moral self-righteousness. I was intrigued by the poly elements this book promised, but as we are only ever given one point of view, it was very hard to see the connections between the love interests, making this feel more like Simon in two relationships rather than a proper threesome. Add some uncomfortable stereotypes and assumptions about gay men and masculinity, and some unaddressed but seemingly significant trauma responses Simon experiences in regards to sex, and I left the book feeling unsatisfied.
This review mentions the identities of Simon's love interests. If you prefer going into the book blind, please skip this review.
The good + Honesty from all characters in the triad + Simon's faith that Leo is a good guy + Chris's trust in Simon's judgment + + Chris the cuddly teddy bear + Chris's demand that Simon talks to all guys involved and discloses the kind of relationship he wants
The neutral o I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book. My review remains honest and unbiased o The conversation about the rules and decisions regarding their relationship happened off-page, while I would have preferred to read at least a little bit about it o The dynamic between Chris and Leo was a little too underdeveloped for me. I wish I knew better how they felt about each other and their triad
The bad - "He certainly didn't have the biggest cock out there, but he was comfortably enough above average that he didn't doubt his masculinity." What the fuck is this toxic shit? Masculinity has nothing at all to do with the size of someone's penis, and this narrative is harmful and toxic - Simon made assumptions based on Chris's size, and in general behaved like Chris's desires were strange or even less valid than others', just because Chris was a large man. When Chris expressed interest in bottoming, Simon was really surprised and even called it a "kind gesture" (which is hypocritical anyway, because Simon looks like a twink and topped Rubric all the time). He also said things like "so responsive for such a big man", as if only twinks are allowed to be noisy during sex. I absolutely detested how Simon dehumanized Chris and made him fit into some kind of mold for big guys in his brain, and everytime Chris deviated, Simon acted like it was the strangest thing ever. He even told Chris that Leo wouldn't bottom anyway, because he was big and strong, even though he never asked. This implied Chris was somehow less strong for enjoying anal stimulation, and also made it seem like Simon would like Leo less if he would enjoy bottoming too - - Leo never really did anything when his mafia buddies were dicks to Simon, which was really out of character for such a possessive man
Simon's views on masculinity and what a man 'should' be like were really toxic, and don't belong in a book written in 2022. Equating penis size to masculinity is both harmful and pathetic. It's a pity Simon had these awful thoughts in his inner monologue all the time, because aside from the conclusion with Rubric, I actually enjoyed reading this story. However, I would definitely not recommend this one, because it's 2022 and the only thing determining whether someone is a 'real man' is the person identifiying as a man. That's all.
The title is very well chosen. I found it funny how Simon is unable to keep his hands off the men in his life. For a poly romance this was a fun read. The characters are all quite different which made it interesting. Luckily for me this is a short book, otherwise I probably would have had trouble staying through to the end. As fun and interesting as Simon's sexual experiences were, his stupidity was annoying. Not to mention a lack of plot. Basically just a quick book for in between, if you leave out the bit of plot and just concentrate on the dynamics between Simon, Leo and Chris.
Kiss one (not his fault), was his boss Rubric. The boss needed it badly, or Simon had. Anyway somebody needed a kiss. Kiss two (also not his fault, Leo cooked him dinner and gave him dessert). He was Russian, possibly mafia, so masculine, and so perfect. Kiss three (probably his fault) Chris his straight roommate, devastated by a broken relationship, Simon only trying to make him feel better. Three men, each in their own way, very important to Simon. Too bad he can only have two.
This story was interesting but had a few holes. Their relationship, while very spicy didn’t delve into the mindset of Simon’s partners, so I felt the total story was lacking a bit of needed perspective.
The writing was well done and I did like all the players. Even the evil one who shall remain nameless.
In Simons words, “These two were the loves of his life and the banes of his existence at the same time.”
Worth reading.

Greedy Boy by MC Roth has the feels, steam, and a man with a big heart. I really liked the story and the concept for this book. The plot was entertaining and I enjoyed the booked. Simon is a man who has a big heart and kisses three men. His boss, a client who is Russian, and his maybe/maybe not straight roommate. There are issues and Simon must overcome them to determine who he really wants and what he wants as far as love. When I got to the end, I had a big smile on my face. It had great characters that you craved knowing more about, but I sort of feel like the author didn't explore everything as much as it could have been. I wanted perspective and just more, but I didn't get it. So they fell a little short for me. That was my biggest issue.
Good story, plot, and characters. I recommend reading it for yourself if you like multiple partner romance. 3.5 stars.
This is a new author for me and I am looking forward to read more. The story is an interesting one. The characters are likeable and fit well together. A good read.
5+💞❤ ❤ A fantastic book and titled perfectly. Simon's tale of what happened 6 months ago of a big oops of kissing his boss which the book steps back in time into the story. After hours in the office building was forbidden but it's not until Simon tests it with forgetting his keys this sets of the story. What he finds was least expected with his boss in some sort of trouble. Leo is all domination as he plays with Simon after their dinner and both chemistries sizzles. A phone call intervenes from Chris. The story is written in 3rd person with a day going way off plan for Simon. A recipe of some forbidden scenes, mixed with some hot sexy flames, tempered with a little emotional surprise and finishing the hot recipe with some unexpected ingredients. I loved this the story is a unique one with Simon falling in love with 3 or maybe two men. I loved the trust issues with Chris and Leo for who they where. Leo explores his sexual curiosities. Simon's boss well he's just a nice piece of work that you might like or not, you'll have to read to see what I mean. I think he got of lightly in the book. Once start I'd read till I finished the book in one sitting. This has mafia scenes and dangers with violence.
Great Story! Action, suspense, friendship, sexy times with three strong men focusing on a trusting man who sees the good in people and situations. Simon works for Rubric as his PA, doing important work for him and closing deals, taking care of his clients and all in all saving the day. One evening he walks into Rubric's office and sees Leo. Leo is a mafia crime leader and he has dealings with Rubric that Simon didn't know about. But even though Simon is kissing his boss among other things, he wants the same with Leo and surprise, surprise... his roommate Chris, a cop, who now thinks he is gay! Leo is willing to share with Chris but not Rubric. Simon is willing to let Rubric go if he can have the other two. Simon is a busy guy, but he thinks it is so worth it! I really enjoyed reading this book and would love to hear it on Audio. Hopefully the author will do it. Be prepared for a book well worth reading. Enjoy!.

I always enjoy books from this author because I’m never quite sure where the story is going to take me, and this was no exception. Simon is a PA, adorable, always seeing the good in people, but quite naïve, and when he falls for both his client, Leo, who is part of the mafia and his best friend Chris, a Cop, his life becomes very complicated. The three of them are opposites, and it was terrific to watch their journey to find how they all fit together. Despite Leo’s line of work, this is not an angsty story as we don’t get to see much of that side of him except where it overlaps with his relationship with Simon and Chris. The story is told from Simon’s point of view, but we see plenty of Chris and Leo, which allows us to understand their perspective. There is emotion, humour, plenty of steam and intrigue, making this story definitely worth the read. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book, and this is my honest opinion.
I wasn’t sure what I was getting into with this… if it was MMMM, harem, love rhombus, but I like how things panned out.
While there are a few complaints that I have, they are all pretty minor compared to how much I enjoyed this. I couldn't put it down most of the day.
One thing I didn’t notice until literally halfway through the book was that I had no clue what Simon looked like. I know he is shorter than all three other men. His build is described as maybe twinkish. I don’t know his hair colour. Someone called him pretty for a man. Even the other characters had very little description given, aside from Leo. Chris is a bear with a beard, but I don’t even know if his hair colour was mentioned. I personally don’t care what characters look like. I can’t visualize it, so it’s pretty much superfluous information for me, but I can see other people wanting more visual description.
This is my second time reading MC Roth, and they are definitely an author I will be reading more of.
Simon really isnt a greedy boy when he tries to have 3 completely different lovers, he just has a big heart. Though Simon never really has the discussion on page about being poly, one does happen about what is considered okay when Simon or one of the other partners aren't there. This book is high heat throughout and there is some violence against Simon. Told all from his pov it is still possible to get a sense of who his partners really are despite their actions. I had a lot of fun reading this. The steamy scenes were great and plentiful. Simon's connection to his partners made sense and Simon in general was really sweet. He's a little oblivious and naive but I liked that about him. Each of the partners had flaws which made them a shade more realistic and their interactions were a lot of fun. An entertaining read.
It started with a kiss…… just one kiss to his boss … That same day he kissed a client of his boss….. Same day again Simon kissed his roommate / friend…..
There are feelings, , so much lust , so much kindness.. Simon wonders how greedy he is but….. he knows his heart is large …. He wants more 1+ 2 = 3 …… A huge beautiful connection between these guys , they sincerely care for each other also want to prove their love for each other and wear Simon out ….. completely, to be throughly satisfied…
I couldn’t get enough of this book, it’s written with feelings and love … Full of sensuality, humour, big guys that love smaller guys ….. So much sexual tension ….. Greedy — Ravenous, self indulgent, insatiable, a voracious appetite , a natural desire to satisfy a bodily need ……. More than five stars ——
Open to new beginnings. Simon, was the type of man you just knew was an empath. He was always trying to make others feel better. He was a people pleaser and couldn't stand to see anyone unhappy. This trait has him acting before the thinks or thinks his actions out. There is Rubrick, his boss, Leo his boss's client and Chris, his room mate. He offers kisses to each man during situational emergencies. Interestingly, he has second thoughts after his acts. Simon, entered into an unexpected adventure with his three men. Business and life was not as it seemed. Will they enter into a partnership relationship? Are the four of them compatible? Can they trust their varying interests? Good story. Lots packed in. Well done! I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Simon seemed something of a spirit animal to me because he was having his cake and eating it too, i felt so much to him as his character seemed to have his head in the clouds alot as he seemd quite naive but with such a cheery disposition. The heat scenes were very high and it was certainly joyous to watch all three navigate their new found situation. I had the absolute best time reading this and would love to delve deeper into this world as I felt like it gave me so much. No one was without flaws and at times I wanted to wrap Simon in bubble wrap so he could be protected but his partners more then took care of that aspect. Such a fun read and I was thoroughly entertained with it.
'Greedy Boy' was my first read from Author MC Roth, and I'll be looking for more. I enjoyed the storyline and the characters, as they developed. It was a steamy read, with lots of angst.
This is Simon's story, how one single day turns his life upside down and sets in motion a whole new life he didn't imagine. Three kisses from three different men leave him wanting things he never imagined and the hottest chemistry he has ever experienced.
Kiss one, his boss, Rubric. Kiss two, the Russian mafia boss, Leo. Kiss three, the best friend and Cop, Chris.
Quickly Simon realises one man isn't enough, he wants them all.
The only thing that Simon is absolutely sure of when we start is that he loves his job. He is positive that his boss is a fantastic guy. So when the boss needs comfort, it isn't a big deal to kiss him, is it? And when the new client offers to make Simon dinner, well surely that's ok. And when his roommate breaks up with his girlfriend, it's only kindness to invite him into his bed. But the question is, is Simon maybe being too kind to too many men?.

This is an MMM romance with a rather naive MC a mafia boss and a cop. That sounds good on paper and ticks my preference boxes. In reality I’m not sure I bought into those roles or the poly relationship. There was just so much of it that didn’t ring true. I often had to remind myself that it’s fiction. It’s from one POV. It’s not overly serious and there was enough twist to add some intrigue. It was medium to high heat. I received an arc and I’m leaving an unbiased review.
This was my first time reading this author and I can honestly say I’m going looking for more by them!! Greedy Boy was fantastic I don’t really think Simon is greedy, he just has a big heart and loves big. Simon kisses three, his boss Rubric, Leo a Russian and his best friend Chris who is straight. I think Simon just has so many feelings, he’s a bit naive and just loves big. I overall really liked the story, it kept me engaged and wasn’t easy to put down. A fun read with good pacing.
What I liked the most was the poly/ throuple relationship, I however would have liked to have more insight in both Chris and Leo. But Simon his viewpoint gave some clarity. I also enjoyed the suspense part of the book. The scenes between the men in various variations was spicy. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This was a quick read watching Simon get himself in a bit of a mess trying to get all three guys. Not all of it worked for me but it was entertaining enough for me to finish the book.
