i don't say this lightly, so listen up. if you love katee robert...read this.
i definitely had no idea what i was getting into with all the omega verse stuff...but this ABSOLUTELY could have been a full length novel. comfy college setting, healthy female friendships, and festive halloween vibes...all tied up in a well written bow!a little ashamed to admit i thought the title was a knitting pun or something at first...but i have since been enlightened. see? this is educational literature.

Amazing title for an Omegaverse with Satan as the MMC. But if you expect a bananapants, OTT, "what did I just read" wild ride (like I did), you might be disappointed. Expect the Mundane Fantastic trope on a college campus, with some fun OV smut. (Free on KU)
The plot: Eden is in college for her art degree. She has a crush on a jock. She goes to a party and walks in on him banging another girl. Her feeling are hurt but she's also turned on. She works on her art projects and occasionally has horny dreams about a mysterious mist. These vague dreams are sort-of shared by Luc (aka Lucifer), who's CEO of Hell.
Eden agrees to paint occult symbol decorations for a Halloween party that the fraternity is having. Her roommate gives her a sexy makeover and she goes to the party. While painting the symbols, she goes into heat and accidentally activates a spell that summons Satan.
Finally, 45% into the book, they meet. After a very brief conversation, they
Stuff I really liked: Luc was a pretty great MMC. The smut is good, including some praise kink, size kink, horn play, and pseudo-exhibitionism. At one point, Luc clones himself and they have a literal Devil's Threesome 😈👱♀️😈. (I so badly wanted to see a joke about it!)
Also, the author kindly includes content warnings in the beginning. The title, premise, and cover are awesome.
But: the pacing was just off for me. We see multiple scenes of the FMC painting. And multiple scenes where "CEO Satan" goes through paperwork or discusses Human Resources. That's cute, but this is a novella. If some of the redundancy had been cut, and a little more relationship had been added, this would be a rave.

This was fun.
Eden (virgin, college student, plus sized omega) is asked by some frat guys to draw scary symbols around their frat house to make it spooky for the Halloween party. While drawing the symbols, she also goes into heat. Very inconvenient!! She doesn't have to worry about not being satisfied though because she just summoned Lucifer, and he's all too willing to help her out. They screw in every way possible and even bring an extra into the mix. Though this doesn't have a traditional HEA, it's definitely a HFN.
I thought it was fun smut. It didn't make my toes tingle, but it's still good. I didn't feel like had much omegaverse in it, other than she's says she's an omega and she wants to build a nest and Lucifer has a knot. Those are the only references to that world.

OMG I am still giggling. Cute, quick read, with enough spice to keep ya flipping pages, and enough interesting and unique things (neon green goo) to make it memorable. So glad I read this for Halloween! Omegaverse novella, fricking adorable.

You know exactly what to expect when you go into this. And it is all you want from this kind of book. It is perfect in the way you want a short, smutty, well-written read. The MMC is great, the fmc just is there, but I didn't mind. There is not a lot of time for really getting to know them, but that is fine. Excellent in the short, smutty reads.

Super spicy omegaverse novella that I didn’t know I needed for spooky szn. 5/5 def recommend for all your spicy spooky szn needs lol.
I really liked that there was a good spice variety worked into such a short story without feeling overwhelming. I think it worked so well because of the heat aspects — my favorite part of OV in general. I enjoyed the characters too, our not-so-innocent-omega was a breath of fresh air & I really liked the author’s take on Lucifer.

Luc is Satan and he lives in hell and he keeps smelling this very strong smell of Granny Smith apples. The strong it gets he knows that soon he will be summoned but what he doesn't expect is the gorgeous Angel who summons him. He decides he is going to make a deal with her. He makes a deal that he wants to spend her heat with her.
The spicy scenes were very hot and I wanted them to keep coming. The one with the Doppelganger was so damn hot 🥵🥵 like yess please.

She agrees to paint some occult symbols for a frat Halloween party, gets a glow-up from her roommate, and ends up accidentally summoning Satan himself when her... uh, heat kicks in? Finally, half way at the book they meet. And after like five seconds of conversation, they're off banging in a pocket dimension for who-knows-how-long.
When she returns, no time has passed but she's got a mark on her hand and the promise of another hookup during her next heat. And that's... it? Girl, where's the build-up? Where's the tension? Where's the STORY😭?!

Kısa ve eğlenceli bir novella. Bir Halloween partisi için yanlışlıkla Satan’ın kendisini çağıran Eden’i okuyoruz. Çok derinlik ya da karakter gelişimi ya da dünya oluşturma beklemedim. Novella olduğu için bu yönlerden eksik olmasını bekliyordum ki öyle de zaten. Yazılan kısmı da eğleneceğim kadar iyiydi ama harika değildi. Karakterleri sevdim 2. kitabı da varmış yine novella. Bu kitap çok ortada bitmişti o yüzden 2’yi de okurum diye düşünüyorum.

I found Eden's POV to be boring and cliche but Luc's POV was interesting. Short and sweet, I guess.
It was a little frustrating not having the MCs meet until page 50, at 50% through the novella.

It takes way too long for Eden+Luc to meet. Luc was a very PG rated Satan. And while the smut was good, it's more of a HFN situation. So, not bad but also didn't wow me.
It takes way too long for Eden+Luc to meet. Luc was a very PG rated Satan. And while the smut was good, it's more of a HFN situation. So, not bad but also didn't wow me.

I’m not the biggest fan of NA books, but I just had to know what was going to happen. It’s not often that monster smut can take me by surprise with creativity, but this one did!
