Scotland. The beautiful country of highlands, glens, and budding romance. At least, that’s what Garret King wishes for while boarding a connecting flight in Toronto. He’d met his girlfriend, Myra, an unreal Scottish beauty, online weeks prior and already felt head over heels in love with her. On a whim to see where their lives could possibly go, one she never asked for, Garret was a man determined to take hold of his own destiny.
Insert Claire Monet. A high-strung, loud, brutally honest woman who plops down in the seat beside him. She too is taking a hold of her life by the reigns. Having been in a seemingly perfect relationship for the last three years, she felt it was time to meet her Scottish born lover’s family. All in hopes of a proposal.
From the moment these two are side by side, fireworks happen only…not ones of a friendly nature. Claire points out that Garret’s girlfriend is a fake while he insults her perfect relationship as a sham. With their trip being doomed from the start, and fate forcing them to stick together, both get the eyeopener they didn’t know they needed. But, there is one certainty when it comes to their misadventure. Looks can be deceiving.

Awesome read. The characters were well-written and hilarious. I didn't want their story to end. From start to finish you are waiting to see what adventures awaits this couple. Cannot wait for the next book.
This is a really good read, filled with a crazy, whacky, and romantic adventure. At first, I didn't think I'd like Googly as much as Cherish & Simon. Mainly because of Claire's wild personality. However, I was wrong and ended enjoying both characters very much.
The amount of times they ended up sticky situations was hysterical that started to get paranoid every time the characters got too comfortable. The number of people that wanted to have sexual relations with this couple was also concerning. Like how many pervs can one story contain? Lol 🤣
As custom with Ms. Morian and Ms. Watson's stories, as far as I've noticed, the story was a slow burn and a good long length. I love that all of their books are at least 400 pages.
I would definitely recommend this book if you are looking for a wild adventure and sweet romantic story.
This writer is just awe-inspiring. Simply gifted with the way she pulls you in from the first paragraph.
This was an interesting, dramatic and comedic read. The story grabs your attention right away and tugs hard at your heart strings.
I instantly took a liking to Garret and Claire because I wanted a book about two people learning about each other, before falling head over heels in love. And in this book that actually occurred.
Both characters have different traits, but are really in sync with each other emotionally yet they don’t realize it. And that’s why I’m pleased and so besides myself because I like the concept of them knowing nothing about each other until they started on that humorous adventure.
The slow build of feelings between Garrett aka Googly and Claire the firecracker was worth the wait. Like a moth to a flame you're plucked into the undeniable magnetic shield they erected around each other.
I felt their hurt as they were both bitten by love. The author; the wordsmith that she is; has produced a compelling storyline, only comparable to a hit television series that’s full with plenty twists and turns.
I have no complaints about this book. The plot was perfect and offered the right dosage of everything and it was so surreal. The optics were so interesting, that I found myself googling Scotland landscapes and Ireland plush beauty to get a feel of what these two encountered.
Books like this are rare, and I feel that whenever an author writes from a place deep within the outcome are always endearing.
I do think this author is special and yes there are many writers out there, however the kind of books this author creates is always something to gush and tell the book world about.
This book is something I would recommend because sometimes we all need to escape to another world and this book did offer up that great escape.
This is my third book I've read and I really enjoyed it. Claire and Garrett are on a flight to see their significant others and sparks fly sort of. They can't stand each other. Lol! Fate has plans for the pair and they embark on a wild adventure. Claire is a Brat but she's funny and Garrett "Goog" is sweet and can handle what Claire dishes out with a smile on his face. I recommend it! Fyi..the book ends on a cliffhanger. I can't wait for book 2!
This story is amazing and I am so glad that I'm following this author! She really knows how to write an intriguing comedy romance dramatic story! For anyone who is interested this is an interracial couple and it is amazing you will not be disappointed and is really a page Turner
The book was not just about sex but a real adventure. It was funny and very entertaining. I would recommend this book too any avid reader. Can't wait to read the the next in this series.
It was funny and sweet. It was the kind of ridiculous hijinks an idiot like myself would engage in, completely inadvertently of course. It’s a definite recommend.
This had a lot of funny moments, some serious times and some sweet sensitive parts. All in all it was a delight to read. I cannot leave without mentioning that there were some grammar errors that tripped up the flow at times, so I won't give it a perfect rate. Also, I did not like that joke Claire played on Goog in Ireland, I think! It was the least funny of all! But, you are so very good at your craft! I have not read one so good in a long time! 😘
This is the 3rd book I've read by these authors and so far it's my favorite. They still need to invest in a decent proofreading service but, the story was funny and insane and imaginative. I like Garret and I could love Claire if she wasn't the stereotypical loud black woman (the reason my reading is 4 not 5). Fun read and I can't wait for the next one.
This book was TOO LONG for only 13 chapters way to many descriptions I would have given 5 stars if was half the length and it gave no hint it was to be continued.
Lol what a whirlwind! Getting stuck across the world with a stranger you just met and already can't stand just makes for some hilarious moments! But ultimately these two realize that sometimes the people that know you the best are the ones that take the time to listen regardless of how long even own them.
