Gamble is apart of the Dirty Sinners series, a shared world where a group of authors are releasing a novella about different members of the Dirty Sinners Motorcycle Club.
This is the second book I've read in the series, and I was satisfied with it. A lot of these novellas can blend together, and while the book is solid, it's not very memorable. I felt like there were some loose ends in the book, such as why there was a random surge of men being aggressive toward Dove with the implication that there was something greater going on. I also wasn't a huge fan of a certain scene between Gamble, a guy from Dove's past, and a knife... I'm positive some readers will appreciate it and find it hot. I personally felt it was unnecessary.

I also felt like the relationship between Gamble and Dove was super toxic. Dove is in a very vulnerable place in her life, and Gamble runs so hot and cold with her. And some of the stuff he says when they argue makes me uncomfortable. It bugged me that Dove felt like she had to apologize to Gamble for quitting in the end, when really he should have apologized. I know he called her a bunch of times, but there was no other gesture to try and get her back. If a guy treated me the way Gamble treated Dove, I would have left and never came back, and I would expect a better apology than one given over the phone.

I'm learning that maybe I didn't like this book as much as I thought I did. Well it's an easy read with some good spicy scenes and a new alpha hero to fall for.

Hot Second Chance MC Read

When Gamble walks into his strip club after being gone a couple of days his past hits him in his face because the new stripper they just hired is someone he knows. Dove was that sweet innocent girl who was going somewhere in her life and he didn’t want to dirty her up so now years later she happens to be the club favorite. There sure are changes now though because Dove is now Dallas and she takes no prisoners.

I really loved this book and the chemistry between Gamble and Dove/Dallas was off the charts. You will get to see why the innocent Dove turned into the brassy Dallas that relished in her control over men. I want to check out more of this author’s work after reading this book…I’ve become a fan.

A steamy quick read in the Dirty Sinners series. Dove/ Dallas goes back home to sell the house that’s been left to her. A quick trip was what she thought. She sees her high school crush and can’t believe that he actually recognizes her from growing up in town. Gamble sees Dove and can’t believe she’s back in town. She was smart and independent and destined for great things. Gamble senses something is wrong but doesn’t know what it is and therefore has no idea how to help Dove. This was a heartfelt story that may trigger some readers. Dove is always in defence mode ready to protect herself as she has had to do for most of her life. Gamble is protective but allows Dove to control the pace and gain her trust. I received an arc copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This book definitely did not disappoint me. The sweet, short, and spicy book is just what I need! Dove and Gamble are beyond awesome. Dove is the sweetheart but badass when needed and Gamble that man is just 🥵
The instalove and spice and just everything about it is perfect!!
Charming and Ruthless Gamble walks into his club one night to find dove, a women he did not think he would see again. Only sweet innocent dove is gone and “Dallas” is here to stay. Or so we though. Gamble can be convincing in tons of ways.😉
What happens exactly when he find out what broke his sweet dove? Well you will just need to read to find out.

Dark, emotionally gritty and so undeniably sexy...Gamble was one absolutely thrilling ride!

I've been a long time Elyse Kelly fan and I couldn’t wait to dive into this story and see her get dirty in a darker genre! Once I finished reading...I can say that this story certainly didn't disappoint! Gamble may be a little darker and edgier version of Elyse's writing but, I am so HERE FOR IT!

Long ago, Dove was a sweet girl who dreamed that one day Gamble would be the one to take her away from her miserable life. Unfortunately, before that ever happened, she found herself living through a nightmare. Now, that old version of Dove is gone... replaced with the fiercely independent and tough as nails persona "Dallas". The newest and sexiest stripper at the Lust and Sin. A surprise to the owner Gamble who can't believe his eyes when he sees the sweet little bird he remembers from back in high school. The one girl he always wanted and never forgot about....

Gamble may be a man who can charm the panties off a nun but, it'll take more than his charm to break down Dallas's walls and earn her trust. He knows his sweet angel is still in there behind her carefully guarded facade...but, can he get her to take a Gamble on him after all she's endured...Show her the man he is and who would love, protect, cherish her until his dying breath...

I really enjoyed taking a ride on the wild side with Elyse! With plenty of her signature Alphalicious-ness, mixed with heart and heat...this book made for one exciting and enthralling read! This is one author who continually keeps me a happy reader and coming back for more!

Gamble is a member of the Dirty Sinners MC and he owns the Lust & Sin strip bar. Gamble and Dove went to school together though he was a few years older than her. When he returns from a mission he sees Dove dancing at his strip club and wonders how she ever came to be a stripper. Dove had so much going for her in school, full ride scholarship to college and her whole future waiting but here she is dancing in his strip club. Gamble wonders how Dove could have fallen so far that she ends up stripping for a living. But when he finds out the truth of how she fell will he give up on her or do everything in his power to keep her and protect her. This is a very good interesting, well written and intriguing story. There was steam but there were a lot tears while reading this book. I could not stop reading once I started.

Short and sexy!!!

I think this is the hottest book that Elyse Kelly has written!!

Gamble is part of an MC and owns the strip club in town. One night he is shocked to see Dove, the sweet shy girl from high school, on the pole. The minute they see each other is electric. They both are attracted to each other, but Dove is not the same girl that she once was and Gamble is willing to knock down her walls.

The story does have some trigger warnings (SA), but handles it well. I am sure that some people will not like how Gamble got payback, but I loved it! It is what we all think, and Ms. Kelly put it on paper. Gamble is a sweetheart towards Dove, he is patient and is always there for her. I love when tough MC guys, turn all sweet for their woman.

My only complaint is I wish the book was longer!

The author has given us a wonderful story that pulls us into the lives of Gamble and Dallas/Dove and does not let go. The story keeps us turning the pages with past trauma, secrets, trust issues and determination.

Gamble (H) is shocked to see Dove/Dallas (h) dancing in the strip club he operates for the Dirty Sinners MC. He'd though that she'd be off at college and leaving Haven behind and realizes that something happened to her that changed her outlook on life. Dove initially tries to avoid Gamble, but he wants to get to know her, and they both feel their intense chemistry building the more they’re around one another. Gamble wants her to be his forever and will do what he has to to protect her and convince her that they're meant to be. Hot and steamy quickie MC read!

I absolutely loved this book. I was hooked from the beginning. It was a super short, quick read. But it was packed with so much in the few short pages. Dove has went through hell, but came out of it, and doesn’t let anyone mess with her. Gamble is a badass, super protective biker. When he sees Dove on the stage at his strip club, his protective instincts kick in. And when men start being inappropriate with her, he sees red. He remembers her as the bright, fun, tough girl that was going places and getting out of the small town they’re from. And he’s attracted to her. And Dove, when she realizes it’s Gambles club she works for, she tries ignore the chemistry between them. I loved these characters. And loved seeing Dove open up, and let Gamble in. Definitely recommend.

Full of angst and emotion. Gamble and Dove have a connection that has lasted since their teen years. They are different people now and Dove has to fight her way past the trauma she has been through. It is so good. They are so hot together. Loved it!

This is not like the rest. In a good way! I’m so used to Elyse writing sweet, cute , small town romance that I was shocked and excited about her writing a semi dark motorcycle club story. It’s about Dove ( Dallas) & Gamble. I’m not giving any spoilers so just trust me when I say you should so totally read this story.

DNF. Ridiculous plot that didn’t make any sense.

The author wants us to believe that Dove/Dallas who has had nothing bad happen in her past sexually, would work as a stripper? She’s terrified every tine a man puts his hands on her, and has flashbacks. It’s beyond ridiculous and I do g believe that she would.

Dove and Gamble knew each other in high school, and Dove had a major crush on him. When something bad happens to Dove, (I’m over halfway through and I still don’t k is what happened.) she drops out of college and works as a stripper. I don’t care what job she does but IT DOESN’T MAKE SENSE! When Gamble realises that Dove is working at his strip club he’s infuriated, and worried as she’s changed so much. After having wild s*x over two nights at his cabin, she returns to being a b*tch to him and I hated her! There’s absolutely no reason that she would do that to him.

As I said above I’m over halfway through and nothing is happening, apart from Dove going from being vile to Gamble, to being sweet, and back again! She acts like she’s traumatised by what happened to her yet she demands s*x from Gamble the day after she meets him again, and then gets angry when he says he wants more than just s*x. It doesn’t make any sense!

The plot doesn’t match the book. It says Gamble let her go as he wanted her to have a good life. It implies they were in a relationship, yet they barely knew each other, and hardly spoke. He noticed how gorgeous she was at school yet she’s three years younger than him, so he was lusting after a 15 year old old?

How did Dove know Gamble’s Mc name? She calls him it straight away, yet they never spoke when she was at home. How did she know he owned a strip club? When she hasn’t been back home in years!

Really poorly written. Too many mistakes spelling and plot wise.

Gamble knows he is irresistible to women, never been tied down and is not looking for and ole lady. He takes his role in the Dirty Sinners MC seriously, he is ruthless when he needs to be. He has been out of town, Tank has been overseeing Lust & Sin while he was gone. When he finds the parking lot packed and finds out he hired a new girl. When he is at the bar she comes on, he is struck, he knows her, and she was the girl most likely to succeed. How did she end up here? She is no longer the sweet girl he knew, she is now a tough, sexy dancer.

He knows one thing, she will be his, and she will not get away from him.

Dove has been thru something traumatic in her past, can she trust Gamble, when it has only brought her pain in the past? There is something about him that just makes her want to give into the desire burning inside.

Gamble is book 18 of the Dirty Sinners series. It is a standalone, quick romance between Gamble and Dove. While Gamble is willing to go all in after reconnecting with Dove, she continues to block his advances. Her alter-ego, dancer “Dallas” is Dove’s shield against a world she can no longer trust. Dallas deals with the drunks and leering men at the strip club. Gamble is determined to discover what happened, and protect his Dove.

Can Gamble break through Dove’s defenses? Will Dove open up her heart and trust again?

Characters: Gamble and Dove are a perfect match as their love for each other conquers her fears.
Storyline: The storyline is a quick read, HEA as the characters overcome a past trauma.

I enjoyed reading Gamble by Elyse Kelly. This is the first time I’ve read/reviewed one of her works.

Was okay but was missing something for me

Gamble by Elyse Kelly is part of the multi-author Dirty Sinners series, which is about the men of the Dirty Sinners MC. This story finds Dove and Gamble who have an interesting relationship, as they have a past but will they have a future. I will say that I have read a couple previous books by this author and liked them. This one I am not really sure out after finished it a couple of weeks ago. There were some things that I enjoyed but some that made me cringe and wonder WTH. So in the end I am going to come down the middle on this book and figure that this story may just not have been what I was thinking it would be. This is only my opinion and I know that other readers will love this book. So if you are a fan of Elyse Kelly then I would say pick Gamble up and make up your own mind when you read it.

When these two connect sparks ignite between them but Dove shuts down those feelings because of her painful past. When she comes face to face with it will Gamble be the one to make sure that Dove is safe, and will his intervention lead them to a happily ever after? This story had me in their corner cheering for them to find happiness together!.

This is a well written story which is action packed, with chemistry, passion, emotions, regrets, twists, intrigue, and love, which leads to an entertaining and addictive page turner.

Gamble had a crush on Dove while she was in high school but felt she was took good for him and destined for greater things. Dove had a crush on Gamble but didn’t think he noticed her. Years later Gamble returns to the strip club he owns to discover his manager has hired a new dancer, it is his Dove! He’s not letting her go again. Sweet, steamy and very emotional. Dove/Dallas has experienced a lot of pain since she last saw Gamble and doesn’t trust easily. Gamble is determined to prove he will never let her down. The chemistry is amazing. There are lots of emotional bumped in the road to navigate on the way to their wonderful HEA.

Gamble: Dirty Sinners is such a good story, it does have a few triggers dealing with sexual assault and can be emotional. But it has a great storyline and lovable characters. I really enjoyed reading about Gamble, the manager of the club where Dove dances. Turns out when Dove comes home to sell her fathers home after he passes away she wasn’t expecting to find Gamble, her secret crush from high school. But Dove isn’t the same girl, things have happened and changed her. Can she trust Gamble with her past or will she lose him? I would definitely recommend this book and the series.

Gamble's girl is back...

...but is it their time? Can he claim her heart before she runs again?

Gamble is a walking contradiction, he looks like a badass, acts like a gentleman and treats her like a princess, but Dove has scars and trust is almost impossible for her. Gamble has to fight for her, show her he loves her, but not control her. He has to make it her decision. Is he strong enough to let her go? Does he have enough confidence in their love, their bond to know she will return to him? Or is he destined to spend the future alone, being a grumpy ass to everyone around him?

Dove is now known as Dallas since she came back home to take care of her dad’s house and move on. She has a job at the local stop club that Gamble owns or manages. She crushed on him when She was a teenager then went off to college. She was violated in the most awful way, then ridiculed for it. She has had to find her own way and let her inner strength come through. Gamble has always wanted her, but was a few years older than her so never acted on it. Now, their attraction is undeniable. The past comes out and she learns to trust Gamble to get her HEA.

Dove had a promising future and things where going her way, that is until the incident at school. Years later and a new persona, Dove, aka Dallas , that she can't trust anyone.

Gamble has returned from a run, when he walked into the club it was busier than normal. When he saw the reason, Gamble quickly realized who she was and was determined to protect her.

This is story has some heart-breaking moments, that are twisted with the fear from the past and the threats of the present. If Gamble can break down Dove's walls, will prove to her that his feeling and trust are real.

Short and steamy 🔥
Gamble is part of an MC group that owns strip clubs.
Little does he know the new girl all the guys are drooling over and throwing all their $ is none other than Dove James. He's known her since they were younger, but he knew she was meant for more than him. Not so innocent now, "Dallas" is dancing for $ and wants nothing to do with him despite the crazy chemistry between them.
The story is full of past trauma (check the triggers before you read)  secrets that could get you unalived and steamy scenes that will hot.
This is not he typical small-town romance books
And I am all for it♡♡

Dallas/Dove gave Gamble a run for his money. She is fierce and strong, perfect to be his old lady. He has to work for her attention and regard, something he wasn't familiar with at all. He ended up getting advice on how to proceed, love that! Dove's gone it alone for so long, its her default setting. The push and pull really worked for me in this story, it brought the tension up just a bit. This is the first book I have read from this author but she has my attention now. I will be checking out her back list asap!

This was a great story. If you love motorcycle club romance than this is a book to read. Gamble & Dove's story is not all smooth sailing. They knew each other in high-school & Gamble can't get over how she has changed from a sweet girl to a tough & cold hearted one. His protective instincts roar to life but will Dove allow him in to her heart.
