3.5⭐️ rounded up

This book picks up soon after book 1.

I rather liked seeing the characters realize how much work it takes to deal with the impact ptsd takes in relationships. It's an ever evolving issue that takes vulnerability and communication that our two MC's had to figure out how to work through.

Minor Spoilers - but plot points I enjoyed:
+ No 3rd act break
+ they got some sort of revenge on the SA-er

I'm curious enough to continue the series, but I might be skipping the next one due to the MMC's name ... but I really want to know Andrea's story - I'm so torn.

🎧 Sally Barron, the audiobook narrator, did an okay job reading the book; again, some of the character voice choices were a bit odd but overall it was an easy listen.

Note: I was gifted a code to listen & review the audiobook by the author.

Just like 5 Nights, this was a great quick read that I didn’t want to put down. I think read the whole thing in a couple hours on airplane and in airport. You can’t help but root for the characters and their story together. Cece’s writing style is engaging and leaving you wanting more chapters in the book. I hope the series keeps going!

I read this second installment much faster than the first one, as I wanted to know how Matt and Lenore ("Nore") progressed. The things I like about this author are that she doesn't go with the usual romance tropes and events aren't predictable. In addition to character and relationship development, other things are happening throughout this book's four weeks that are very realistic yet original.

I took a bit of a break from reading but this story was still so good! The character growth and story line is just amazing.

I’m excited to continue the series and see where the main characters story leads.

Overall, I thought this was a very cute book and a good follow up to book 1. I wish there had been a little more happening plot-wise, both in and out of the relationship. It definitely is perfect for anyone looking for a short and sweet romance novel.
