This book was able to present love for humanity in an easily relatable way... With incredible challenges offered to the reader. Pick it up, read it, embrace what part you can play in the world, and change it for the better.

Very beautiful, emotional book! As the family works through their pregnancy with a fetus that will die at birth, we are caught up in their thoughts and feelings! So good. The last of the book is somewhat too philosophical!

It’s great doctors like this are around. But it reads like grampa’s memories, and without any real insights. It’s a recitation of events — a great guy doing good works — without humor, without personality. I feel bad saying this. But it’s what I found.

Inspirational is an understatement. Dr. Dutkowsky’s book is a must read for all that have the privilege of taking care of the injured or ill. A beautifully written book, Dr Dutkowsky inspires me to not only be a better health care provider, but also to be a better human being. Thank you, Dr. D.
