I’m a huge mystery fan and this whole series has been one the absolute best combinations of romantic suspense and mystery that I’ve read in forever!! Rowan and Faust must join forces in order to solve the case before it’s too late. Amazing characters and a storyline that will have you in its grip until the very end!!! A must read! Highly recommended!!!

What an universe.....I really love this series with multiple serial killers and it's wonderfully written to keep us on edge. Also the good guys ( and women) are not without flaws far from it but even if it touch them personnally they will fight for justice and to bring the culprits down. I really LOVE it.
This time we follow Rowan Wells , she is trying to find the truth about her twin sister disappearance and for that she did not hesitate to change service to make sure her cases was not forgotten.....she worked on some precedents cases with the serial killers because she was doing her best to be everywhere, check every tips that could lead her to her sister. Because of that attitude, she is alone, she does not allow herself to be happy but take guilt over everything ( how she did not protect her sister, did not find her soon enough etc etc) and that's dangerous for her career.
Until Faust.....suddenly some one is taking care of her, someone getting behind her walls and she is not sure how to respond.
Faust wants Justice, as US attorney , he is determined to find the truth but he was not expecting to find love on the way when he goes to the site of a gruesome murder and see Rowan after having spent the night with her.
I loved the story even if i did guess the culprit i was immersed into the story and could not let go. I'm curious about the next one too as the case of serial killer get deepers and deepers.

Oh Wow, Nichole Severn, it isn't often that I don't even have any idea who the serial killer is going to be but this one had me completely blindsided and I loved it.
State trooper Rowan Wells was looking for a one night stand, she wanted to forget that her twin sister Raylan, had been missing for a year, she wanted to forget about her job, enter tall, brown eyed, toe curlingly handsome Faust Hardman who would give her a night that she would never forget, the same Faust Hardman who, the following day walked up behind her at a crime scene......... the assistant US attorney Faust Hardman. OMG, they would both lose their job if anyone found out, they must keep their distance, it would be difficult, they were working on the same case, a serial killer who murdered his victims in a particularly brutal way, the attraction was still magnetic but things weren't always how they seemed.
It is difficult to review this book without giving away any clues, needless to say, it is action packed, suspense filled, it twists and turns like a corkscrew and the end left me gobsmacked, there is also of course the powerful attraction between Rowan and Faust the magnetism is electric, their lives are in danger, they are both battered and bruised, can they both escape with their lives ?
A real page turner and a well deserved five stars.

I voluntarily reviewed a copy of "STUDY IN COLOR" This is Rowan & Faust's story that hooks you from start to finish full of suspense, intrigue, danger, murder, steam, secrets, lies, twists that have you glued to your seat.

I absolutely love this series set in the world of the twisted serial killers and this latest offering is no different It pulls you in from almost the first page and never lets go until you turn the last page so please if you are expecting to get any sleep start it early because i guarantee you won't want to put it down

An Absolutely Sensational Suspense Romance . I volunteered to read and review an advanced readers copy of Study In Color . I was pulled right it to this story . It's full of twists and turns I never saw coming . This is definitely an on the edge of my seat story . Washington State Patrol Trooper Rowan Wells never expected the man who she had a one night stand with to show up at her murder scene . She definitely had no idea he was Assistant U.S. Attorney Faust Hardwin . While working the case they find
similarities with her sister's case except her sister hasn't been found . As the danger grows and the feelings between Faust and Rowan increase not all things are as they seem . Secrets can be deadly . This story is of the charts amazing . It's full of suspense and intrigue and definitely action packed . I highly recommend taking the time to read . The intire series is outstanding !

Another absolutely amazing book in the Hunting Grounds series! Rowan and Faust's story.
Rowan Wells, the trooper who has been involved in the previous cases of serial killers, whose sister went missing a year before. The sister Rowan never stopped searching for.
Faust Hardwin, the assistant U.S. Attorney who was pulled into Rowan's life as a one-night stand, but becomes something much, much more!
This book is a heart-stopping, exciting, can't-put-down roller coaster ride. Rowan and Faust are amazing together. I couldn't put it down. This is great as a standalone, but you'll have so much more understanding if you read the whole series. Thanks, Nichole! Looking forward to Art in Blood with Raider and Becks!

This was just so great! Edge of your seat thrill ride that had so many twists but then it wouldn't be a Nichole Severn book without them.
This was centred around trooper Rowan who was searching for her sister presumed taken by a serial killer, and with the help of US attorney Faust they are don't everything they can to catch him.
This really was a thrill ride. I loved the passion portrayed and the connection that was slow to develop between them but was so strong and hot when the connection is made. This author never lets us down on that front.
So well written, unbelievable action and wonderful characters make this a truly compelling read. Great work Nichole!!

Wow! Hair Raising Romantic Suspense.
Another spine chilling action packed story.
It had some really awesome twisted turns in this book.
Rowan Wells is a state trooper searching for her sister. Then she hooks up with US Attorney Faust Hardwin, a prosecutor holding back on what he might know about her investigation.
They are hunting for a very smart killer. This proves to be scary, but interesting.
This book is another great addition to an awesome series. I really like how all the books tie together!
However if you haven't read the earlier books in the series I definitely recommend all of them.
I can hardly wait to read the next book which is Art in Blood (Hunting Grounds Book 6) which is due out in December

This series just keeps getting better and leaves me wanting the next book. Between the many unseen twists in this story, the suspense. and the growing relationship between Rowan and Faust you will be on the edge of your seat wanting to know what will happen next. I was hooked from the beginning when what was to be a one-night stand suddenly turned into Rowan and Faust working together. Both of these characters are used to keeping themselves relationships - until they met each other. And the more time they spend together, the more they get past the other's barriers. Provided they can survive the killer, and their secrets.

What a fabulous addition to the Hunting Grounds series! In Study in Color we're back working with Trooper Rowan Wells on the year long disappearance of her sister. She shouldn't be working on this case because she has been put on a mandatory leave to get herself together but one thing that we know about Rowan from View From Above is that nothing is going to stop her from finding out what happens to her sister. For one brief moment Rowan takes an evening for herself and meets the man who will become her partner in one of the most twisted of the Hunting Ground cases to date. Faust Hardwin is a man with a purpose. His purpose is to prosecute criminal cases and does anything that he needs to in order to bring criminals to justice. Faust never expected to meet anyone like Rowan but now that he has can he really give her up even though he should? Rowan never expected to meet anyone. She has been driven by the need to solve the crime involving her sister so that anything else was completely off her radar. These two are so good together but untold secrets and an unknown killer may keep them apart forever. Such a good story! Twisted, suspenseful, light hearted moments, soul crushing moments and a bit of heat! Study in Color was told from dual POV, stands completely alone however the previous books in the series shouldn't be missed.

Action packed and filled with secrets! With book five in the Hunting Grounds series we get to go into the field with state trooper Rowan Wells as she searches for her missing sister. The plot is thick with turmoil, danger and sexual tension as they race against time to figure out who is playing games and who the last one standing will be.
I recommend this book as well as the entire series to anyone that enjoys a high intensity romantic suspense series with lots of twists and turns.

Nichole has given us another great book that will keep you reading. Rowan and Faust keep you engaged from the beginning. I loved the interaction of the two and when their one-night stand turns into more and Rowan finds out who he really is the sparks fly. Can she forgive him? will she find her sister finally? There's suspense, danger, action and a twist I didn't see coming. Be ready to lose sleep with this book because you won't want to stop reading.

Such incredible detail! Fight scenes were in vivid details. Emotions described with intensity. Another amazing book in the series, but it’s not finished. People are disappearing for a year and resurfacing as serial killers, five so far. Our trooper is a bit too invested and her new attorney friend is complicated. So many pieces to the puzzles and yet they fit in the end. Always excited to receive an early copy of a Severn book, review provided honestly.

This book is action packed and full of twists that will have you gasping and screaming. The characters are so well developed. Trooper Rowan Wells is a strong, intelligent woman and a true force. She is determined to find her missing twin sister and its that determination that has her going into danger taking the U.S. Assistant Attorney Hardwin along with her. This story is a complete page turner with suspense, secrets, lies and sexual tension that will hold you until the last page. Outstanding!

I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book. Wow, this series is absolutely nuts. I've never read something similar and it's getting better and more thrilling by the books. We've met Trooper Wells in previous books and this time it's her turn for a HEA, or isn't it? I knew there was something epic going to happen - as that's how this series works, but I didn't expect for the story to turn out as it did. Very awesome.

Wow! This series just keeps getting better and better. I love how the characters and their stories all weave together. Rowan and Faust both have traumatic pasts that have shaped their present. These two characters had me engaged from the beginning. Their interactions with each other are full of strength and humor. Lots of suspense and tragedy and twists to keep you in the story.

Another great addition to the Hunting Grounds series. Neither Rowan or Faust were looking for love but unexpectedly cupid's arrow hit them, and as they had to navigate feelings they weren't sure how to handle danger stalked them. Twist and turns, unexpected connections, danger, action, and suspense combined into an ending you wouldn't have expected in the beginning. But don't worry they also work out their happy ending with a little help from "higher" powers.

I’m officially terrified! When I don’t think it’s possible for this series to get more intense the newest installment has me gasping in shock. Book Five in the Hunting Grounds series had me glued to the page from cover to cover as the latest serial killer to use Seattle as their playground makes things personal for our heroine, Rowan and her one night stand Assistant DA Faust. A must read!

A well written perfectly paced story pulling you in from the start. I am hooked on this series as it has enough action and twist to keep you reading. It was hard to put it down for everyday things. I loved the interaction going on between Rowan and Faust and all the other characters to pull this story off. I can't wait for the next book to come out to read.

Another amazing read from Nichole Severn! If you like romantic suspense that is well written, you so need to read her books. The story is well thought out, will capture you in right from the beginning and has twists and turns you do not see coming! Rowan and Faust were so amazing together! I highly recommend! Great writing. Great story. Great romantic suspense for Faust and Rowan. Loved that part of it. Unfortunately, the episodes of violence, were very graphic and were overwhelming for me personally. The shock of it ruined the story I was really enjoying. So, if that is a trigger for you, I just wanted you to know.

A suspenseful fast paced read that you won’t be able to put down. If you haven’t read the earlier books in the series you definitely will want to do so. If not you are missing out on fabulous reading.

It is hard to put this book down because of the continuous action. Rowan and Faust have chemistry but he isn't being honest, can anything good come out of this. I enjoyed this story with interesting tough characters. I was hooked from page one.
