Rate this book
A special ops mission in Nigeria falls apart when the raiding force sustains massive casualties from a rogue drone strike. It's another dead lead for the CIA's operation to uncover an international arms smuggling ring and prevent a cache of state-of-the-art AI weapons from ending up in terrorist hands.

The one person neither the CIA nor the smuggler counted on was Isaac Northe, recovering alcoholic and former special forces.

Isaac breaks into corporate installations for a living. A job for a defense contractor places him in the middle of the hunt. He will need all his skills to survive the assassin and army of mercenaries sent to erase the trail.

An engaging military thriller

A spec-ops raid gone horribly wrong. A former Marine hellbent on unearthing the truth. And an assassin tasked to make sure the trail goes deadly cold.

David Scott takes the military thriller genre by storm. Combining a precise writing style, engaging characters and a twisted, action packed story with the evident ring of authenticity, he creatives a memorably thrilling reading experience!

Book Review – The Titan Protocol – David Scott
It’s hard to believe that “The Titan Protocol” is author David Scott’s debut thriller novel. This action thriller is gripping, intriguing and exciting. Scott pens an engaging story with complex characters and a unique plot. It was a stimulating paramilitary espionage story with a rare private sector security twist and plenty of undercover activities that drove the narrative. Main character Isaac Northe, a recovering alcoholic, and a former special forces operator was a strong and compelling character. He and his former paramilitary teammates go on a ‘rogue’ operation to find out what went wrong to a CIA special ops mission in Nigeria and end up uncovering an international arms smuggling ring and a cache of state-of-the-art weapons that terrorists were trying to get their hands on. Dangerous. Violent and Suspenseful, Scott interweaves a battle of wits, a dash of mystery and suspense, and ample dry humor that leaves the reader wanting more with every turn of the pages. The story is definitely one you want to see continue. Good pace, creative storytelling, and adequate military ‘violence of action,’ The Titan Protocol was a worthwhile read…

What an amazing debut by David Scott. A CIA spec-ops raid gone wrong. In the US a new security firm is trying to get a contract with the biggest US defense contractor. An assassin on a mission, killing mostly criminals. All those paths will lead together, through quite a few twists and turns. And then the cliffhanger at the end leaves you speechless. Until you recover and long for more. WOW!

This is a great debut thriller from David Scott. Scott’s characters are interesting and the story is full of intrigue and espionage. I liked the corporate security/private contractor angle. Great ending and I am definitely looking forward to book 2 to see what happens next!

A good read - well paced and the only "criticism" is that moving from 1st to 3rd person sometimes involves repetition of facts/scenes - but that is a minor issue. If you like The Gray Man and similar books this is familiar territory and worth a visit.
