Growing up as a shifter, you are always taught that finding your mate is an amazing thing. What happens though when your mate rejects you? When you don’t get that happily ever after you’ve always dreamed of? Will fate somehow bring your souls together or will you forever be alone?
A twisted rejection part 2 - story one, by Amanda Cashure, so it was my intention to read the full book in between the analogies but I didn't get there. So while I liked the story in twisted rejection part one by this author, I LOVED it in book two. The author has given us a different side of the male leads, where as last time is was tough this time it was loyalty. The Aussie slang I just love, reminds me of how Aussie I really am. It is interwoven just beautifully with the story line making it appropriate and not about cramming in aussieisms....just made that word up! It has taken everything i have to continue with this book and not seek out Amanda's full mob book! Can't wait. Sorry two - Bella Claire - wow totally sucked straight into the story quickly and thouroghly, completely emotionally invested in Penny's love and heartache. Well written fast paced and I can't wait for the full length story to follow. Just brilliant Sorry three - Alexis Taylor and Beth Hendrix After reading the first part in the first anthology I searched for more....little did I know this one would pick up right where the last one left off....almost no words, lots of potential triggers, but damn this story is so good, fast paced and engaging. I need the rest of this book now! Story four - Alex James & Nikki Young. Ok the rest of the book is out in Summer... which country I need it now. This story again is great at sucking you I and leaving you wanting more! The MC is a badass who clearly has a tale to tell but this story just touched on it whetting your appetite! Story five - Rieka Eli. What a great final story. The main male character did frustrate me, but I think that is just the way personality is and it works for the book. It leaves you wanting more with lots of unanswered questions!
The first 3 stories are continuations from the first part of anthology. I went ahead and reread the stories from part one. It was nice to catch up with some familiar faces. That being said I could have used alittle bit more draw with some of these stories.
Twisted: Amanda cashure This story picks up right the story from part one left off. The guys are on a new case...this one involves a friend and an ex. This was a cute read and enjoyed the dance scenes.
His secret: Bella Claire Another short that picks up right where it ended in part one of the anthology. This time we get to see what happens after Jericho steals baby arielle.
A twisted secret: alexis Taylor and Beth Hendrix Nate has officially lost it. After discovering her sister is dead Mira takes actions into her own hands. But it has unforseen and life changing consequences
Rejection: axel James and Nikki young This story was like a little teaser. Being bullied all her life Jezebel is just waiting till she can leave her hometown. But the bullies and a group of random strangers have something to say about that.
Unlikely mates: Rieka Eli This book definitely lives up to the title. Meeting a girl and then a little torture. The begging of all love stories 😂
Twisted: This V was a good follow up from the first part found in book 1 of this Anthology. It was put together better I thought. I liked how it went through the process of Cho and the guys helping her. Didn’t feel like it missed anything.
His Secret: Penny had a wonderful life set into motion. Then with a twist of fate had it all taken away. Jericho then comes back to her only to make her life completely different then anything she could have dreamed up.
A Twisted Secret: We get another short bit of this tale. I wish we could just get the whole story. Blips at a time is very frustrating even if they are writing great. Here’s to hoping for more quickly.
Rejection: Jezebel is a 18 year old that is on her own it seems. She is bullied and she is the adult to her parent and has been for years. Her life takes a huge turn and we are left on a cliffhanger with more questions then any answers.
Unlucky Mates: Audrei is in for a surprise. She is just a lone wolf working at a computer place. Then she is kidnapped by Mancio and questioned. Then they are on the run together. Add in a psycho and you got a start to a story with a cliffhanger.

I enjoyed the second part of this anthology series better then the first. I did not like the first story, Twisted, at all. I didn't care for the characters and story in part one and part two wasn't any better. His Secret, another continuation from the first and I really did enjoy it and plan on reading the full length novel when it comes out. The last story that continues from book 1 was A Twisted Secret and it was a little disappointing. This was my favorite from book one and I kind of feel jipped because the story didn't really move forward and a good portion was already in book one and just copied over to book 2 with a couple of chapters added to it. I would like to see where the story goes but I don't think I have the patience to get small bits in different anthology books. The last two stories were the new ones and they both made this book better. Rejection is really short but attention grabbing and I really want the full length story on this one. Unlucky Mates was my favorite story and I really want the rest of the story desperately.
The continuation of "A twisted Rejection" Anthology.
Similar to my feelings with the first anthology
Twisted By Amanda Cashure
I just didnt get into and I'm feel like I should apologise for feeling this way to the author because there is nothing wrong with the short story. It just wasn't for me.
Its written well, just not my cup of tea So I apologise Amanda Cashure.
The story that got me the most and left me desperately seeking more is... A Twisted Secret By Alexis Taylor & Beth Hendrix
Again this little story is brilliant and gripping. I really would love this story as a whole book it brilliant and leaves you wanting to fly onto the next part. I'm hoping that it'll be released as it's own story / series.
I'm currently part the way through "His secret" by Bella Claire
So I will update this review once I have finished this one.
However my overall feelings are these are well worth picking up. You'll be surprised by how gripping these short stories can be.
Another 5 stories in this Anthology of Twisted Rejections. Three of which are continued from the 1st book.
All these authors know how to draw you in and leave you wanting more. You can feel the emotion and heart ache in all 5 stories. But be warned there are cliffhangers. Just a taste of what you will read...
Rejected by an Alpha, finding my sister dead, seeing my mother dead on the floor and then waking up to find I'm kidnapped. "I have made you my mate. You are a wolf-like me now and as your mate and Alpha....you have no choice but to obey me"
Being bullied and teased growing up, having deadbeat parents, literally, then getting attacked. "I found her covered in blood and surrounded by dead bodies, I had nowhere else to bring her"
I will say this, with each of these twisted installments a piece of my soul becomes that much more . . . Darker, tortured, twisted. I don't know. One one hand, I have thoroughly enjoyed reading the stories. On the the other, though, the Cliffhangers leave me gripping the edge of sanity and the unknown with how much I want to know what happens next. Not knowing if there will be another installment messes with the mind. These stories, these authors. . . Bah, I tell you the ladies at BBB are gleefully (or evilly 😈) laughing right now because they know these are some addictive stories (like MacD's crack 🍟)
Oh my!! I love this book!! I think rejected mates are fast becoming a favorite for me!! And these authors do not disappoint! Each and every short has something different and something for everyone. One has a bit of a trigger warning attached to it, but I wouldn’t say it’s severe. From first to last each one will grab your attention only to leave you hanging and asking questions, not all of these wrap up. So I think it’s safe to safe we will be seeing a third edition of some sort in our future, and I can’t wait!!
I enjoyed read this second part to this anthology eash story I felt was great and I need more. With that being said my only thing that I wish was different was that it was longer. I love reading anthologies because they give us a taste of different authors writing and the authors in this book are all amazing writers. I would love for this to have more parts to it or each story to be continued by the author that wrote each story. Overall I think you will enjoy this book and I myslef can't wait for what's next.
Great continuation with some of the stories and also some new ones as well! Some questions answered and more questions left unanswered. Short stories that leave you wanting a whole lot more from the authors. It is a nice change from long books but be warned some are shorter than you think. If you don’t mind cliffhangers definitely worth picking up the first book and this book. Hoping there will be more of these stories down the road! 💜
What a fantastic selection of stories about rejected mates. These are dark, interesting and full of emotions. Each story has a beauty to it and each story takes on a different type of storyline. There are some triggers so be warned. But overall, I really enjoyed this selection and it takes the fated mate genre to a new level. Each author gives us a tragic and heart wrenching story that will have you wanting more and more!
Wow book 1 had me hooked instantly and this one doesn't disappoint at all. These stories are darker and more twisted. Each of the authors have brought you an amazing, vividly detailed story to have you on the edge of your seat. I absolutely love each of these stories. This anthology does have trigger warnings as it is a darker book but it's amazing and I would definitely recommend it.
I've read every book released by BBB publishing and I have to say that they keep getting better and better. I've not read one story yet that I haven't liked. I can't wait for more. I really hope for another rejected mates anthology, I seem to be drawn to them. Great job to all the authors, I loved all ya'll's stories!!
I'm sorry but the point of an anthology is to give a sneak peak at books available for purchase, not write a few chapters at a time. I was wanting to read your stories but your little book means nothing if I only get a few chapters and skip to a whole other world! These were crap!
Oh my goodness, like I said, I need more. They have gone and done it again with such a fantastic set of authors and stories. I don't know how I will await the conclusions of these shorts...SO GOOD!
They’ve gone and done it again! A fantastic book of short stories, that will whet your appetite for more!!! I absolutely love these anthologies. A Twisted Rejection Part 2 is exactly that- Twisted. I cannot wait to see what the authors have in store for us in book 3....
This is the second book of a series. Three of the stories pick up where they left off in the first book. The others are new. This book is as good as the first one and as well worth reading. I enjoyed it very much.
Another great book of anthologies! So many stories I need to read more of and a few new to me authors! I love finding new to me authors through anthologies. love reading the rejected mates and shifters! Such a great job by all the authors!
Good mix of new stories and continuations of stories from the first anthology. They all share a common theme. But it is interesting to see what each author did to the theme.
