Madison Retro: A Novel

Rate this book
Madison, Wisconsin in 1969...
It's a spring day in Wisconsin in 1969.  Farm fields are changing; birds are chirping; the snow has melted.  Richard Nixon is president, and in mid-August Woodstock will be held.  Locally, Sgt. Pepper's is playing out of newly opened windows everywhere and young girls are appearing on Madison streets with flowers in their hair.  A man shows up in this scene and announces he's from the future.  Herein starts a story of two different ages - historical, and the chronological ages of man. And in the center of it all is an encounter between the man from the future and a girl with kaleidoscope eyes...  This time-travel story, written in 1994, is a fond glimpse backward into a forgotten world - the late 1960's of Madison, Wisconsin.
