An out-of-work writer, and a businessman in need of an assistant. Can they find a way to get what they both want for Christmas?
Abi Williams has dreamed her whole life of being a writer. But her bank account balance makes her afraid her parents might have been right all those times they told her to keep a “real job.”
Stewart Vincent can’t believe his assistant of seven years walked out on him. Especially right before the holidays. He’s dreading the process of finding a new assistant when Abi Williams walks into his office and asks for the job. He’s uncertain, but agrees to a trial employment until the first of the year.
Abi hopes she can keep the job to appease her parents, while still finding a way to write. She’s determined to be the perfect assistant and won’t let anything get in her way. Not even her handsome employer.
Stewart decided long ago that he’s married to the job. He’s not looking for a relationship, especially with his new assistant. Even if she does have an adorable smile and a fun-loving personality.
When they begin to work in close quarters and spend time together, Abi realizes he’s so much more than a suit, and Stewart finds that her zest for life might be just what he’s been missing. But Abi finds out news about Stewart that changes her opinion of him, and she’s ready to distance herself from him.
Stewart will have to choose between living the life he’s always known, or chasing after the dream he didn’t know he had.

This was truly a hallmark movie, Abby is apparently a struggling writer who is desperate for a job and he’s desperate for an assistant it’s prefect.

Tell me why she comes to her first day of work when they met they day before and starts saying she wants a Christmas tree to be put in the office and gets a cup of coffee with cream and sugar and he informs her he drinks it black and she tells him that he needs to try the cream and sugar she got him. How on earth is that someone desperate for a job she’s more like desperate to lose her job. But don’t worry he doesn’t fire her cuz there’s just something about her he likes and her quirky personality that makes him change his whole ideas about his future.

SPOILER BELOW.

Why on earth in the epilogue did he propose on new years, i think the earliest they could of possibly met was November as she mentions black Friday shopping.

Definitely a sweet Hallmark movie worthy book.

Abi Williams biggest dream is to be a writer but she also needs to pay the bills until she can support herself in that manner. When a misunderstanding has her delivering coffee to OneSource Technologies owner Stewart Vincent she manages to finesse her way into a job as his PA. It isn't long before the vivacious and outgoing woman and lover of all things Christmas has Stewart relaxing and enjoying life outside of work.

The slow and gentle growth of Abi and Stewart's relationship was so enjoyable and heart warming. But will a simple misunderstanding ruin everything?

A cute Christmas romance. An out-of-work writer, and a businessman in need of an assistant. Can they find a way to get what they both want for Christmas?

Abi Williams dreams of being a writer, but her parents and her bank account tell her she needs a real job.
Stewart Vincent doesn’t like change. So when his long-time assistant quits on him right before the holidays, he dreads the process of finding someone new.
When Abi walks into his office and asks for the job, he’s uncertain, but agrees to a trial employment to get him through Christmas. When they begin to work together in close quarters, Abi realizes he’s much more than a suit, and Stewart finds that her zest for life might be just what he’s been missing.
But Abi is determined to keep her job, and Stewart decided a long time ago that he’s married to his work.
Will they get their wishes for Christmas, or will business get in the way of pleasure before their relationship can reach the new year?

Billionaire Under the Mistletoe by American writer Hannah Jo Abbott.

I liked this book and it's perfect for the cozy holiday season. This book combines everything I love in a Christmas romance: a touch of humor, emotional growth, and a cute connection between two leads.
The holiday spirit helps soften Stewart’s initial standoffishness and encourages both characters to embrace the season’s themes of hope, connection, and love.

The story follows Abi Williams, an aspiring writer who struggles to balance her dreams of writing because of finances. Needing a steady job, Abi becomes the assistant to Stewart Vincent, a reserved and work-focused businessman whose personal life is nonexistent. Stewart, reluctantly hiring Abi after his long-time assistant quits just before Christmas, finds himself drawn to her.
As they work closely together over the holiday season, their initial professional relationship develops into something more personal. Abi starts to see the man behind the business suit, while Stewart begins to question his self-imposed isolation and the priorities that have defined his life.

This was the perfect cozy romance story. I thought it was a well written and sweet book. I am generally not a “Billionaire”reader, but I decided to give this one a try. I am glad I did. Abi Williams had always wanted to be a writer, but rent, groceries and food were more demanding. Her parents were always pushing her to get a “real” job. They didn’t seem to have faith that Abi could make it as a writer. In her desperation for rent money, Abi seeks out a job. She ends up working her way into a job as an assistant for Stewart Vincent, a young man who owns his own technology company. From there, the story really develops and gets interesting.

If you enjoy good Christmas romance stories, I recommend this book by Hannah Jo Abbott!

Loved this story of Abi and Stewart!! Abi needed someone to believe she could make her dream come true, and Stewart needed someone to show him there's more to life than work. When these two meet and start getting to know each other, they find what they didn't even realize they were looking for. Not your typical billionaire romance, and I really enjoyed it!! Stewart may have money, but you get the sense that his feet are still solidly on the ground, and Abi definitely is not your typical heroine!!

I received a complimentary copy of this book, was not required to leave a review, and the opinion expressed is my own.

Truly a Romantic novel

Abi is like a force of nature, and a steamroller, with a lot of fun in her life. Stewart is smart, serious, quiet, and compassionate. There's an enjoyable, fast-paced story here, but I didn't read anything about their faith, or even the true reason for celebrating Christmas. I gave it four stars only because I didn't like it when Abi constantly bossed her boss around, not listening anytime he said "no". I was pacified when he finally realised he wanted to listen to her. So it turned out to be a very enjoyable romance for me.

I loved this sweet story. It's the first book I've read by Hannah Jo Abbott and I'll be reading more. Abi a recently out of work wannabe writer literally runs into Stewart, billionaire, all business kind of guy. They run into each other in a coffee shop and coffee flies. In the story he learns there is more to life than work. This is a fun, clean read that will keep you involved. I look forward to reading more of this authors stories. Enjoy, blessings.

This is a short, fun, clean and wholesome story. Abi and Stewart don't know it, but they need each other for different reasons. I enjoyed reading it, even though some of it seemed a little unrealistic. It was a sweet romance, but they seemed to fall in love a little too quickly-especially since she works for him. But if romances took as long as real life sometimes, it might be a really long book.

I couldn't believe when Abi overhears part of a conversation and assumes the worst. For someone who has had no problem saying what she thinks, I was sure she would ask him later about it. She finds out the truth almost by accident when she meets the person who had been on the other end of the phone. The ending was nice.

Abi and Stewart have a great story. They go from complete strangers to friends to maybe more. I thought the story line was good and my interest was kept as I read. Great for a quicker story that is well written.
