A really interesting book. It's built around helping people with catastrophic illnesses cope with the reality of their situations, bu the principles extend far beyond that.

Just like the cover, this is a loving, gentle book full of compassion and ways to be present when a loved one is ill or dying. Jeff Kane is a retired doctor and from his years of experience he can guide you through difficult times.

This is a great book to read when a loved one is ill. I wish I had read it when Kay was sick. It gave hints as to which questions to ask.
