I really enjoyed this book, although I made the mistake of reading it "casually". I hope to (and would recommend) going back over it with a pencil and paper or something.
Excellent introduction to the practical side of trading options. Not enough for trading tho, I still got rekt. Proceed with caution, supplement with more theoretical work like Hull.
This book will give you a deep understanding of options. It does so through the eyes of positional traders that trade volatility and market makers. That makes sense because the author was a market maker and is now an independent positional trader. It does not directly write about directional trading. However, it lays down the fundamental concepts any options trader has to know. The book goes over market structure, the option contracts itself, option strategies, hedging, and risk management. My favourite parts were the ones about market structure and market making, but I got so much value on each and every page of this book.
