Once she gets there at last, she sees that the wind wasn’t at all what she expected. *** The Windcatcher is a story about curiosity, determination, and appreciating what you already have. The Windcatcher Review
This book reminds me of when I was young and curious just like Elle! The determination that Elle has is above and beyond anything I have seen before. The book is well written with beautiful illustrations and above all, a lesson to be learned: A bird in hand is worth two in the bush. Elle believed that the mountain wind was the best and let out all that she had caught and realized that the mountain wind was nothing like she imagined. The Windcatcher is a great read for children and also has some lessons for teens and adults alike. I recommend it to anyone as it offers an adventure.

"Whooosh" Such a delightful and fun adventure, You would want to be a child again, and have it read to you over and over . My children would have loved this when they were younger, there is so many opportunities for the youngest to get involved and this is a gem for sure to the new readers.
The illustrations are colorful and endearing. (Timmy is cute as a button).
A must have for parents to be sure.
