This was the first manga I ever brought and it's been about 10 years since I last read it. Where has the time gone!?

It's still a cute but funny story. Ryang helps a human/deer escape from the cops and is rewarded with being shown where faerie's bathe at night. After being caught peeping, Ryang accidentally rips Fanta's magic dress which means she can't return to the Faerie land and Ryang becomes her master.

He's not too keen on her following him around, he's even less keen when she tells him that he must have 108 doomed relationships.

All the characters, even the bad ones are likable and this made me smile plenty of times. Looking forward to the rest of the series.

it's a good book, and probably a good series. i got the first one, and realized that the series would take like 20 books to complete, and i didn't want to devote that much money to it. so needless to say, a guy having to defeat 1000 crazed women wasn't compelling enough for me to continue the series.

Since I don't normally write reviews unless I have something specific to say, here's the break down of how I rate my books...

1 star... This book was bad, so bad I may have given up and skipped to the end. I will avoid this author like the plague in the future.

2 stars... This book was not very good, and I won't be reading any more from the author.

3 stars... This book was ok, but I won't go out of my way to read more, But if I find another book by the author for under a dollar I'd pick it up.

4 stars... I really enjoyed this book and will definitely be on the look out to pick up more from the series/author.

5 stars... I loved this book! It has earned a permanent home in my collection and I'll be picking up the rest of the series and other books from the author ASAP.

This was a good start to a series. I enjoyed it and it made me LOL. I really like the world. Ryang was so funny and cute when he got frustrated, especially with Fanta. I LOVED Fanta! She was a great character and a kick ass short girl, which I liked as I am also short. The premise is interesting and I will be continuing the series. I gave this 3 stars because it did not blow me away, and cause I honestly almost stopped reading this because of the super tiny words. We get plenty of large text, but there's A LOT of teeny tiny text that I could barely read even with my glasses..if the others are like this, I may not continue due to the fact that it has caused my eyes to be sore from straining. Other than that, its worth picking up.

I thought it was well written, humorous, and a truly enchanting book. Ryang is struck by some ill-fate; after being tricked by an antlered man named Goodfellow, he has to house the fetching fairy Fanta as well as endure 108 doomed relationships (as if his life wasn't hard enough to begin with). its a must read.

I really liked the art and I found it amusing at times. I am torn about whether to read the next volume or not; Fanta is my favourite character and I want to see what she does next. However I find Ryang so annoying and I'm not sure Fanta is enough compensation to watch Ryang go through 108 doomed relationships.

Great series, albeit a little slow at times. The main problem is that the author abandoned the series after 23 volumes, and TokyoPop only translated 19 of them. I found this out after buying the “complete series”, only to discover I could never finish it. 🙃 I would be very happy if it were completed one day.
