Until Death, Noah Rhymes didn’t realize how important life was to him. Until his cancer diagnosis, he didn’t realize how afraid he’d been, how much he’d settled, played it safe living under the shadow of his famous older brother and musician, Wes Rhymes. Until Death, he didn’t know how far he could push himself, and his dreams, and until death he didn’t know how much he could love someone, Gabby, enough to let her go.
Gabby Broussard, newly-minted chef, young food-truck entrepreneur with a bright future and energy enough to make it even brighter, didn’t take life for granted. Life was meant to be lived, and the sooner the better. This baby girl of eight children was used to pushing forward, tackling whatever came her way. As long as she was in the driver seat, she could make just about anything work. Until Noah. What to do when making her dreams come true, seemed better with him. What to do when what she wanted, wasn’t what he wanted…
I grew up in Fort Worth, Texas. Attended Clark College as an undergrad, and completed my Masters at the University of Texas in Austin. Both of my degrees are in Economics. After working in the Banking industry, I am now doing what I love - telling stories.
I enjoy reading, gardening, movies and hanging out with my spouse of twenty-seven years and our two young adults. I currently live in Austin, Texas.
This story comes after Two Groomsmen and gives you all the background and story perspectives from Noah’s world. I keep coming back to this author for her wonderfully developed characters and the bit of humor she adds to some of the personalities in each book. Noah and Gabby’s relationship rings true. They are each looking for something in a world where they may have to work hard for what they want, and I was right there with them on every page. There’s also a bunch of good realistic steamy scenes!
