Sucks less than the first one, I'll give it that. But all of the abuse never gets addressed. The teachers bring up that they don't believe Chayama was in an accident but it doesn't seem to go anywhere. Chayama always hides her bruises because she's afraid her controlling father will put even more limitations on her... and then he does put more limitations on her when he finds her with Mizuno, but the fact that Chayama was constantly bullied and physically assaulted just doesn't matter?? Also, really weird how Mizuno seems like a totally different person here than in volume 1. She's suddenly not toxic and boundary-breaking anymore. Why characterize her like that in volume 1 in the first place?

Okay so i was kinda confused for a part of it (???) but whatever... My girls are getting out of there for real (i hope). It's actually got some really pretty art in it, especially the colored pages in the beginning are beautiful. Not getting a higher rating from me because idk what happened with that other girl and also <\3. .
So, technically 3 1/2 BUT just bc it was too fast in the middle. Pls continue with the story. I'd love to read more bc the pacing of vol 1 was sooo good !! 🙇🏻
