This is the first Pete Nunweiler book I have read.
I really enjoyed the book, loved how he got us to know the characters. The story kept me waiting for what would happen next. I especially love it’s unpredictability!
Well done Pete!!! Looking forward to reading your other books!

Time to unplug

What a book! Nunweiler has does it again. Combines spirits and technology. Makes some of us face of our worst fears. Or at least mine. Not a fan of all the connectivity and things that are digitally controlled to make life easier. This book just amplifies my fears. Great read. Could not put it down.

EXCELLENT!!!!!

I swear I love this author. This is the 5th book of his that I’ve read and they just keep getting better. Horror is my favorite genre to read and the creep factor was constant throughout the book! The author deftly and successfully turned an innocuous, everyday convenience that so many people use into something invasive and utterly terrifying. Totally unlikeable main characters (Heather and Cody) but wow, did I love this book! So well written! Tense, uncomfortable, and eerie……..everything a horror novel should be! More horror please, Mr. Nunweiler. I’m waiting patiently…….

Virtual Assistant is my 5th Pete Nunweiler book and I had been looking forward to this Paranormal/Horror novel since I found out it was coming. You can read Virtual Assistant as a stand alone but if you have already read The Ghost Between Us series along with Room 23 and The River House, I think it will mean more. I love that all of his books are intertwined just a little bit. Virtual Assistant was a bit creepy and tells the story of what happens when your new security system might be haunted by a ghost. I considered unplugging all of electronic systems. It was a wild ride with interesting characters and some unexpected twists and turns. I was crazy happy when a couple of characters I haven’t seen in a while made an appearance. And that ending… I wonder what Pete has planned next!

Did not care for the chopping writing style, but the story was good.
