Joshua Conway - Texas Ranger: A Classic Western

Rate this book
A bank robbery and a murder, gangs of outlaws raiding Texas out of the Oklahoma Territory, a Ranger murdered, a land grab, or kidnapped children. Being a Texas Ranger meant he had to be prepared for whatever outlaws were set on doing by taking something from someone else rather than working for it. Clay had taught him to be fast with a gun and retired Judge Tomlinson taught him the law cautioning him to 'Do it right the first time, you won’t get a do-over'. Get ‘em to trial if you can. If they won’t go, do what you have to do. Honest hard-working families deserve to be left alone to live their lives, and seemed that there as always no-goods who wanted to take what someone else had, rather than work for it. This was what he was meant to do and when he walked away or was carried, he figured his life would have been worthwhile.
