Soar The Eagle.swoop The Hawk

Rate this book
Soar the Eagle... Swoop the Hawk is a story whose genesis was inspired by the attacks that shook America on 9/11. In tone, the work is an artistic and poetic rendering of the forces that engender violence and terrorism and that seek to suppress individual and national freedom and democracy. Its intent is to memorialize the victims of the World Trade Center, Pentagon and Western Pennsylvania disasters, and to recall the indomitable courage that was displayed by so many on that fateful day. Instead of treating the 9/11 tragedy and its aftermath in a conventional manner, Soar the Eagle... Swoop the Hawk is a work of fiction that, rather than being set on the streets of New York City and in the bowels of the Pentagon, is staged in the wilds of Alaska, amidst Nature's unsullied realm. The result is an allegorically toned poem of violence, tragedy, and irrepressible love.
