Then there’s her loving family of witches and warlocks who swish their brooms and swords in her business whenever they can. Last, but never least, Vixen—her snarky cat familiar—is always by her side.
Jane, true to her personal code, is determined to make things better for everyone—or die trying. Can Jane spin a dream catcher strong enough to entrap the evil night prowler? Will Jane choose to play with the forbidden fire of a dragon, or wrestle with a powerful wolf, or … both? All good questions.

I absolutely loved the final book in Jane's story! Jo-Ann Carson is an amazing writer and manages to bring all of her characters to life.

Even though this is just a trilogy, there are many more books about the Black sisters. If possible, read them in order (something I did not do). I am looking forward to reading the books those books, as well as anxiously awaiting her newest books in this universe, about Rebel Black (one of Jane's sisters).

Fully engaged from the start, I struggled to put down this well-plotted novel. I have become attached to all the characters in this series, in particular, Jane Black and Vixen. I enjoy the light-hearted banter between the psychic enchantress and the wise (often snarky) cat familiar at her side. In this finale, Ms. Carson has upped the ante and given Jane a daunting set of challenges. In addition to dealing with an evil dreamwalker, romantic entanglements, and family drama, Jane must also clean up her life and participate in a spirit quest.

Jane and the rest of her town are back and so is all the trouble. I am always in awe of the trouble Jane can find and this was a riot. Lots of action, danger, hot guys, crazy family and so so entertaining. Glued to the end to see how Jane saves the day and what other decisions she will face and make. Fun and entertaining to read as always with good characters to help the story along. Enjoyed it.

Of you feel like a misfit sometimes, you'll love this series.

This series was full of life,love and of course how it can all get screwed up by a few words of a phone. But magic is the saving grace whether human or witchy.

Rcvd an advanced reader copy from BookSirens for giving my two cents. We met witch Jane in previous books. In this one we see her set on helping a fellow supernatural by ways of dreams. Jane doesn't know what to do on this and asks her father for help yet again. One thing for certain is Gavin is back in town to stay and that complicates Jane's heart even more. Thr kryg are back on the move to steal more Warlock babies and Jane must travel to the dream world on a vision quest...however she must do some tasks before she is allowed to go...sheesh...talk about clearing her head. Not only that...Jane must contend with female werewolves over Gavin...can anything ever be simple? Good read!

A heroine, a hero, and a cat too!
Vix is still my favorite character but the other characters have a special place in my heart also. This book is the last of the trilogy and it has an awesome ending. I usually do not review paranormal/fantasy as I read them just for pleasure because they are too hard to do a simple review on but this trilogy grabbed me right from the first and I just had to give this talent author credit for this creation. Action, adventure, and a super cool cat (okay yes there are other critters that were great too). If you like paranormal/fantasies than this trilogy is the one to get! I did receive a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.

Bring on the Magic and Mayhem . . .

There are twists and turns throughout this story line as it picks up from the previous books to keep the reader fully engaged as Jane Black is back in action against an evil dreamwalker. Jane is one of the “good guys” who tries to make things better for everyone around her.

The story was delightful and I loved every minute of watching this wild cast of characters work together! Grab your copy and see how it all winds down in this final book of a terrific trilogy.

Thoroughly enjoyable series. Dial Magic ties up a lot of loose ends. Jane must prepare herself for her spirit quest by cleaning up her life. Lots of action in this story. Entertaining read that will hold your interest.

The last in the Jane Black trilogy is as good as the previous two. Jane and Vix are a great pairing and Janes family are made up of some interesting and well thought out characters. Jane comes up against a dark dream walker, and when her client is murdered she has to resort to asking for advice from her father - never a good thing. Add to that the Krygs attacking the town once again and Gavin coming back into her life, Jane needs to be stronger than ever before.

As always, it’s fast paced, well plotted and written and is a stand-alone read, but would be better to read the series in order. With the introduction of Rebel, Janes sister, it looks like a pointer to a new series, which hopefully won’t be too long coming. A joy to read anything by this author.

What a great ending! 💕

Oh my goodness! A great end to a fabulous Trilogy.

The twists and turns, or suspense and intrigue are quite surprising sometimes. There's a dragon... There's a vampire... There is total chaos but somehow it all works out well in the end. I am still not quite sure how that happened exactly but it was totally creative and full of adventures. We cannot be without our HEA, after all.

I do so love that naughty cat though! Even if he likes to claim to always be right!

“You see, you are making a difference,” said Vix, resting on Jane’s shoulder.
“Oh, good grief. You’re not going to start with the I told you sos now.”
“Don’t need to. I was right all along.” Jane scoffed. The darn cat was right again."

I fell in love with the story and Mystic Keep in Dial Witch. Since then, Jane has grown and come into her own. She finally decided to face her fears and where her heart belongs. Although my decision might have been different, I am glad that Sol affirms that it was the right one.

Overall it’s an entertaining and fun story about witches, warlocks, mystical creatures and divers realms that will leave you ready for more about Mystic Keep and Jane’s family.

I have previously read book 1 & 2 in the trilogy but it can be read as a standalone.

Loved this book it had a strong ending and also linked us to the next series.

The feel of the book is warmth, there is humour and evokes empathy for the characters.

What a fun ride it has been. I loved the 2 men in her life and the vying for her affection was hilarious. This book continues to deliver on the action and the laugh out loud moments. I read the entire book in one setting. Though I am sad to see this series end I cannot wait for the next. This author is so much fun to read. The characters both bad and good are fleshed out and come alive right off the pages. I cannot recommend this series enough. What a fun ride.

This is the 3rd in the trilogy but again can be read as a stand-alone you just won't have as much background history. These characters are always fun to visit. The story is fast paced and our main character 's family is hilarious in their attempts to take charge and fix whatever situation has popped up. ( sometimes she really could use the help!) The romances are definitely slow burn but complicated, of course. I would recommend this book for a light fun read. I am happy to leave this reveiw. I received this book from BookSirens for free.

What a great conclusion to the Dial Witch trilogy by Jo-Ann Carson. This time a client needs Jane Black's help to banish a dark dream walker. However its not as easy as Jane first thought and after summoning her father as a last resort, when her client is murdered, she ends up on a dream quest of her own to try and banish the dream walker. Along with the imminent threat of the Krygs and sorting out her feelings for Gavin, Jane has a lot on her plate! I loved the introduction of Jane's sister, Rebel Black, towards end of the book, hinting at a spin off.

This trilogy started with the ideal that Jane Black had that magic and non magic folk could all live together peacefully. So she started up her store and did her best to help all those in need. Pretty much everyone is against this idea but she’s set on it and making it work. Throughout she’s done just that. There are laughs, there are cries and there are great big bads to fight against. In the end what really matters is family, children and protecting your home. That is true in fictional and non fictional worlds alike.
I enjoyed the series very much. Jane is a one of a kind, kinda gal. I loved her story messy, fly by the seat of your pants and wing in to win it. Loved the magic, the family dinners and the slow burn love story that does have a hea if you’re patient. Most of the antagonists are defeated but the Kyrg threat still hangs, maybe that will be explored in other series.
TLDR? A great story with a wonderful witch who makes the world better just by being herself.

The thrilling conclusion to the Dial Witch Trilogy!

There is so much going on this story. We have the evil dreamwalker who’s actually taking memories from a Casanova warlock. Then Jane’s love life, or lack thereof. Will she ever decide between the dragon and the wolf? And don’t forget the Kryg still trying to steal children with warlock blood. Vixen is still just as snarky as she’s always been, but it’s obvious she really loves Jane. Then there’s the Black sisters, their mates, and their children. This story has it all, from danger to family, with all kinds of supernatural beings. I wish I could live in Mystic Keep with a family just like Jane’s—irritating but always having each other’s backs. These stories are so wonderfully written that I just keep reading way beyond when I should stop. I’m immediately pulled into the story. The plots are always strong and the characters are what really make these stories just so good!

Too many story lines, adventures, and character arcs packed into this book/trilogy. I liked Jane, and her family and guy troubles were amusing, but there were just too many disconnected adventures that we bounced between. I think this whole trilogy would have been better if she had focused on one story arc in each book rather than jumping between Jane's family issues, the vampire, werewolf, and dragon as well as all client-related adventures in each book. I'm glad I finished the trilogy but it wasn't all that satisfying. My favorite part of this story was the relationship between Jane and her cat, Vixen. This is a mildly entertaining book series that has precursor books that probably provide context but aren’t necessary to read. It has the typical witch, vampire, dragon, and warlock drama along with family interactions amongst powerful magic siblings. It’s an OK series but my main concern with it is that there are some grammatical or wording error, some geography errors such as saying a sorcerers layer is an Africa and then they step through the portal to his Lair deep in the Amazon, and the fact that the character depth is minimal at best. All in all it’s an amusing light read with an interesting but not super engaging heroine and a moderately compelling magic system and culture.

Fun

I very rarely do Reviews.
I am an advent reader.
I thought this book light and calming. It kept me wanting to read more. It is filled with adventure, intrigue, warmth,mystery and Happiness
It is difficult to find all this in a story. I love the magic and characters. I like how family and community ivy differences are brought together. I can relate to Jane and her stubbornness and persistence.

Witches & magic

What an ending!!! This was a great trilogy. I loved the characters. I also loved that this series brought the characters from the Perfect Brew into it. It was full of mystery, magic & humour. I will have to check out the other books relating to the characters in these two trilogies.

I really liked this book and wish it was more than a trilogy. I like Jane. She uses her strength and power to get what she wants. I love her family, pushy and opinionated yet supportive.
