A biotech company is poised to release its highly anticipated new product, a revolutionary swimming pool cleaning system that depends on an unlikely mix of exotic microorganisms. But when the president of the company’s son dies unexpectedly in his own private pool, the company’s product launch is thrust into uncertainty.

Determined to salvage his company and make a fortune in the process, CEO Dr. Harry Stone races around the world to collect hard-to-find microbes literally from the ends of the Earth in an attempt to meet the launch deadline with a secretly modified product. This was a perfect summer read, although it will make you think twice if you are reading by the pool, feeling like you might need to urinate.

Dr Harry Stone, the CEO of his own biotech company, is poised to release a new product that will revolutionize the way pools are cleaned. A tragic accident in his own pool may derail the release of this new product.

I greatly enjoyed this story and felt the narration by Dan Delgado really added to the tale.

Welcome To Our Ool. Notice There Is No "P" In It. Seriously though, after reading this book you're never going to look at getting into a pool the same again - and certainly will be particularly careful about any sudden urges to just urinate in one. ;) Overall a very fun, nearly Crichton-esque, adventure tale of a biotech CEO desperate to save his company and willing to go literally anywhere in the world to do so. And that ending. It won't be for everyone, but dayum I loved it. Great, fun near future scifi adventure and a relatively short read at 230 ish pages. Perfect for a bit of summer thrills and escapism. Very much recommended.

I loved the narration of Dan Delgado, he brought the characters to life. You felt the characters pain, joy, perfect

Harry is a CEO of a biotech company is poised to release i, a revolutionary swimming pool cleaning system that depends on an unlikely mix of exotic microorganisms. But a accident in the pool, could stop the launch .
Problem is a child and the accident are close to home and it is accident that happens in many pools..... but this one causes burning.
All I am going to say, is never believe a mothers grief, is not strong. Also don't go into a swimming pool , with a full bladder.

audible:The storyline was good. I was in for most of it but the narration by Dan Delgado just grated on my nerves. It seemed too aggressiive to me. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

I sort of enjoyed bits of this: there were real oddities (I know CEOs can be idiots, but this guy was insane). There was seemingly no connection between the water and the mine, they just sort of happened. And the ending left me a little dry.
