Going through therapy in order to get over her friend Amelia's drowning death, Robin, who blames herself for the tragedy, is unaware that she is about to experience the terror all over again. Reprint.
This is a "good and delicate suspense!" that every reader who loves Mary Higgins Clark should read this novel.
I read this in 5 days - finished it all yesterday!
I came across the novel when my older brother interlibrary loaned this book. I wasn't sure if I was expecting to read this novel, but then, I did.
Marcus and his twelve year old daughter, Robin have nightmares. They live in an apartment. Dorothy and Amelia are close friends of Marcus and Robin.
In this book, I like how they find a music box from the eighteenth century. The good ol' music box works perfectly that these girls can play nursery rhymes.
I also like how Amelia is killed in the accident in this book.
After all, this had a good ending! They spend Christmas in this book. There was almost a New Year.
By the time I finished reading this novel, I had enough suspense.
Calling all prayers of Mary Higgins Clark! This is the novel that every suspense reader should enjoy and this would change reader's perspective of life.
Confession: I didn't read this book but I saw the movie starring Meredith Baxter and Evan Rachel Wood. It came on Court TV One Saturday afternoon and I was hooked. Meredith and Evan Rachel did a good acting job in this movie.
