There are a whole bunch of fun tropes tossed into this short novella but they all seem to work well together.
Mack lives up to his grumpy demeanor and Daphne is definitely his sunshine. I do wish the author would have circled back to get Polly’s reaction to the two of them together. Though, I feel she would be supportive of her friend and brother together. And as instant as the love was between them, I was surprised by how long it took them to marry.
I received an advanced review copy from the author and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

This was a very fast read, but really good. It had a story line and plenty of sexy scenes 😉. In this book we meet Daphne and Mack. Daphne is a college student that started stripping to get through college and Mack is a construction worker.
They meet at the club and the attraction is there from the second they see each other. Really enjoyed reading this low angst high heat book.

What can i say about this book..... It was such a good story filled with so much heat and love, i loved reading about the journey Mack and Daphne where to the happy ending they both deserved.

Great read
What a great read! Quick and steamy. Absolutely loved it!
This is the first of Ailas book that I’ve read and I’ll now go on to read many more.

Yes! I have loved seeing Aila’s growth as an author and Stripped Bare is her best work for sure!
I love a good age gap and the spicy, dominating attitude that comes with these two takes the heat to new levels.

I really liked the premise for this one! It's not anything new, a man falling for a stripper, but it's not something that I've read before. This is a quick read, so there's not a whole lot of story line and most things are implied or told so if that's the kind of reading you enjoy then this one is for you!
I personally like a bit more detail with my books, but this one wasn't bad for what we are given. I wish there'd been a bit more interaction between the characters outside of them sleeping together so that I could feel there was a reason they actually liked each other. It fell a little flat for me without that added bit of relationship building.
Mack kind of came off as a jerk in my eyes. He tells her he job is okay and then gets mad about it not even 24 hours later. There were other controlling actions that rubbed me the wrong way, but that stuff is personal opinion.
This one wasn't really for me, but I'm sure there are a ton of people out there who are going to love it. I hope those people stumble across it and give it a read!

Very fast paced read. If you enjoy insta love and a dirty talking alpha male. You’ll enjoy this Novella. This was my first read by Aila Glass.

In Stripped Bare, our male character is a grumpy construction worker. A loner who works and stays to himself. One day he is encouraged to go to a new strip club with his coworkers, to his surprise he is enticed and entranced by one of the strippers who gives him a private dance. He leaves very much enamored with this woman who he knows little about. Fortunately for him this woman (Daphne) attends lunch with him and his sister and he is able to meet her and learn more about her.
This is a very steamy, sexy short read. It’s a quick read and I enjoyed the grumpiness of Mack, this loner and I liked how Daphne was comfortable in her skin. She wasn’t embarrassed to be a stripper and enjoyed the attention and looks that she got. If your looking for a quick insta love novella with lots of steam, this is a great choice.

3.5 stars I would have rated 4 stars, however I felt the chemistry was a little off outside of the bedroom for me.

Glass did a great job with this novella. It’s short, a quick read that gets right to the point. And it gets steamy. Well done.

This book caught me by surprise.. I thought I knew what I was going into but it was way better than I imagined.. Grumpy old man young college girl trying to find her way and pay for her college by stripping. Both being in a place neither really wants to be but as soon as Mack sees Daphne it's over for her.. He immediately wants her and thats end of story.. He gets what he wants even if she isn't ready for him yet.. great read..

Another great read from Aila. I really enjoyed the story of Daphne & Mack they had great chemistry & lots of spice. I would have liked the book to be a bit longer & have a bit more depth so it wasn’t so rushed.

Daphne works her way through college as a stripper. One night Mack comes in and sits at her table. Both are attracted to each other. They go back for a lap dance. Both think about the other but don't think they will see each other again. Turns out Daphne is his sister's friend, so they do meet. They get hot and heavy with each other until Mack cannot take her stripping. Can they work it out? Is there a future for them?
I enjoyed this story. I liked Mack and Daphne. They were made for each other. He makes her think if she wants to continue as she is. She gets him over his grumpiness. The story is hot, not much of a plot but I liked it. I plan on reading more of Aila Glass. She writes good love scenes.

There was so much packed into this short story and it all worked so well together. Do I wish there was a little more to the story line, sure. But I went into this knowing it was going to be short and spicy. The insta-love/lust hit hard in this book and the sexy times were aplenty.
Mack and Daphne had an instant connection and it was almost like the universe was pushing them towards one another. I loved Mack's possessive and domineering personality. And when Daphne threw out the daddy kink, I thought my kindle was going to catch fire.
There were a few inconsistencies in how a few scenes played out, which just threw off the flow a little. But Overall this book was a great short, spicy read.

I’m all in for a grump/sunshine kind of love!! This was a fast paced, instalove that I just could not put down. I just loved how strong and independent Daphne was. She knows what she wants and what she has to do to get it. Mack is a grump who was not looking for a relationship until Daphne found her way on his lap! If you are looking for something quick and sexy and fun to read I highly recommend picking this one up.
