January 24, 2020The story starts when the narrator sets off his journey to venture a certain mountain peak. The way to this dangerous peak leads him to a forbidden Himalayan cave where he comes across a personal diary. The diary contains the love story of a simple mountain girl Bhumi and a highly decorated army officer, Veer. But their path was not smooth. The past of Veer always haunted their future. Did their love survive in the test of time? Whom does the diary belong to?
And most importantly, who is this "Con man"? Grab the book to find the answers.
My take:The story has a beautiful narration. Though at first it takes some time for you to get into it, you will surely start to enjoy afterwards. As the story progresses, it picks up the pace and the plot starts to deepen. The tale was sweet yet so many emotions were portrayed simultaneously. The writing and the editing part was upto the mark.

I feel the characterization could be better. In the later part Bhumi's character seemed to be confused which I didn't like. The relationship between Sanaya and Bhumi needed more space. But I loved Dr. James. But again I expected more from his character.

The author has tried to create a beautiful story with the essence of mountain and you can feel the vibe through out the novel. It is a feel good novel. I would suggest this to my booklover friends to try this one and let me know!

"Once Upon A Luv" by Dr. Vishal Anand is a book about life changing event happening in the life of protagonist. They still starts with he being on the HImalayas and admiring and finding Lord Shiva in every person. Then he goes on the hunt of Con man's cave. There are total 15 chapters and the book is well written.
Intrigued, he sets off to a fact finding mission that compels him to try and restore the spoiled reputation of disgraced lovers. Little did he know that his quest would change the course if his life, leading him to fame and more importantly, a personal treasure.

She was very fond of Poetry Specially Poetry Which was written by Veer Pratap Singh. She fell in Love with His Poetry. She fell for him as well. 💕
Major Veer Pratap singh was an instructor of the faculty of Combat Communication Engineering at MCTE, the alma mater of corps of Signals in the Indian Army. He Loves Writing Poetry.
Bhumi as a School girl Loves Studying. She Loves reading Poetry Which is printed in the monthly magazine Written by Major Veer Pratap Singh. She never saw him but She thought about his Handsomeness since she starts reading his Poems. She wrote him letters but he never replied to her letters. The most Beautiful part in this story is When they met for the First Time and then their Love Story Starts. This book is beautifully written to describe this true love story in which they both meant to be Together Forever ❤️

Cover is eye catchy and depicted the content of the Story very well.

With an extremely conversational narrative style and little nuances and careful details that recreate the cities and places, the story is set in, 'Once Upon A Luv' is an emotional rollercoaster indeed. It is the story of Veer, Bhumi, Sanaya and James, concocted by a freelance blogger and mountaineer, who himself becomes an intrinsic part of the story. 'Once Upon A Luv' touches the unlit corners of your heart and leaves you with a smile. The story might be a work of fiction, or it is a tale of truth from a storyteller's lens, it seems to be the most believable fiction when read. The constant turmoil in the plot and Bhumi's life rips you time and again, and as a reader, you are not the same person you were 196 pages ago.
A story set within another story- 'Once Upon A Luv' lets you live a life you could never have imagined!

A very different kind of love story which will make you fall in love with this book. Every story has twists and turns which makes it much interesting to read. This is a story about Major Veer Pratap Singh and a girl name Bhumi. You will get emotionally attached with this untold love story. Life was going on smoothly they both meet each other and many things changed in their life. Suddenly the twist comes that change everything in their life. The end is what I like the most which revels something about the life of Veer Pratap Singh. Veer Pratap Singh is well known for many things. You have to read what was the thing for which he was famous.

As i love romantic fiction story this was also an amazing book which was unkeepable until the last page. The book should not have been completed as i was expecting more. The beauty of the snow of the Himalayas has described very beautifully tht It was like m feeling it. The book is a page turner. Romantic love story which can be read by any reader of any age group. All the chapters are very well explained. The chapter is unfolding something as we proceed. The lucid and easy language being the most positive point of the book. I love the end of the book. Cover is amazing and the name is perfect. Recommendations yes

Ever Heard those mystic tales of a magical golden creature leading protagonist to an unknown, secluded place from where starts a new journey of finding facts and erasing the rumors. This one had similar plot, here narrator wants us to know about the love story of a common damsel from the hills, with a reputed and famous Major Vir Pratap Singh, the twists and turns of their love journey and how things came to be what they are at present.
It was a pleasure reading this book, its a beginner friendly light read with detailed description of the heavenly locations.

The author was very descriptive and described the characters in a very beautiful way. The cover was a quite satisfying and the book was very very very addictive! This was my first read of Dr. Vishal....and had a great experience☺☺

Unique and great storyline, even amazing writing style. Story is intriguing and will keep the readers engrossed throughout the book. It is totally worth your time. Characters are such that one can empathize with and love story that unravels between them is something that nobody would want to miss.
