Anders is a peaceful, nature-loving vegetarian with a phobia of needles. While backpacking through Australia, he arrives in Rockhampton with his friends to learn he’ll be working the dreaded kill room of a slaughter house, and to work there needs vaccinating against Q fever.
Unhappy with his situation but unable to do anything about it through lack of money, he reluctantly decides to stay.
