Onwards and upwards!

Sophia continues to find herself on interesting missions, spreading her special brand of magic as she goes. There are some Easter Eggs in here!!! An exciting treat for those who have read the other series.

We see some past history, which helps us to understand the present; as Sophia also gains a better understanding of the past.

Sarah has us on a roller coaster of emotions, and I lover her brand of humour and wisdom. Another exceptional book in the series. I do hope there is more to come.

Well there with have it. Thad is gone and we still have dragons. I really liked this installment. It summed up some things and we got a much deeper look at some of the characters. I like how you constantly get flashes off the old characters but they are paramount to the story. Sophia is really coming into herself and she's making the changes needed for the dragon Elite. Even Hiker is starting to see too. I can't wait to see what happens next in the series.

Wow what an awesome story!

I have always lived Sophia and Lunis, but this episode tops them all. They learn so much about each other and their purpose. Wonderfully written characters help you feel like you are there with them on their adventures. There is lots of interaction with the world outside, as well as meaningful connections strengthening inside the castle. Couldn't out this one down!

5 stars. buddy read

This was a great conclusion for the villain that has been taunting them in the past three books. There was a lot of character growth and I loved every second of it. I can't say much without giving any spoilers, but I really hope some romance starts blossoming soon.

Absolutely loved this story. So much self discovery. Lots of danger, excitement, learning new things, going on adventures, taking ownership. So much growth and maturity. Just wonderful!!!!

Nice conclusion to an initial trilogy

This was a pretty fun, well done conclusion to the initial trilogy of the adventure of Sophia Beaufont. The books (and adventures) don't stop here, but this nicely wraps up many storylines that were first raised in the first book.

I'm still enjoying the characters in the series, and am also still quite amused at Noffke's sense of humor in her narration. Good times, great read.

This is one of those “can’t put it down” books, they get more and more enthralling as the series progresses. With only a small number of dragons and riders left to save the world from Thad and his Magitech, Sophia really has her work cut out for her. She needs to find the Complete Histories of the Dragonriders, fulfill her duties to Mother Nature and Farther Time, bring the Dragonrider Elite into the modern world, and figure out a way to save the world! This story has everything you want in an urban fantasy book; action, battles, intrigue, suspense, secrets, humour, brilliant characters and amazing creatures. I love how the author weaves in characters and worlds from other series and how relationships between the characters grow in depth with each book. You fall in love with Sophia and Lunis more with each story. I love their humor and seeing how much their bond and abilities developed and strengthened. In this book we get to learn some of the history that led to Hiker’s mindset and the secret behind the castle’s groundskeeper. We also find out some surprising information about Ainsley that makes you like her all the more. This story pulls at your heart with the challenges and difficulties the characters face. It amazed me that how at numerous points in this story you think “oh! that was such a great story” only to realize there is still lots to go and that it gets even more exciting and captivating as it continues. This was an exciting, action packed, emotion filled story that has you on the edge of your seat and leaves you dying to see what happens in the next book.

This book was full of even more action than usual, and I loved that it brought Hiker & Sophia closer at last, as a family she has chosen.

With Sophia doing everything possible to fulfill her promise to Mother Earth, to complete her training requirements, plus trying to get behind both Ainsley, and Quiet's, strange behaviour, she does all in her power to complete her training, so that she can help support her fellow Dragon riders in the war that Thad Reinhart was encouraging to break out all around the world.

Although the Dragon Elite have been reduced to Hiker, Mahkah, Wilder, Evan, and herself, Sophia is determined to make sure that Hiker will defeat Thad Reinhart, even if she has to go against his order not to interfere, but Sophia and Lunis have a surprise in store, and it will make all the difference to them all.

I'm really loving this series, and this book really sets the scene for Sophia's future as the rider of Lunis.

So much happened here, that I felt almost breathless reading it, and can only hope that the rest of the series follows on in the same vein.

I can now go to book four of this great series: The New Elite, to discover just what else will change after the epic battle these amazing riders fought and, when I finish this, I'll catch you on the flip side, to tell you about it!

I wish I knew the Beaufonts, as they are an amazing family!

Excitement and lots of action💖

Sarah Noffke can always be counted on for a great read. When she joins with Michael Anderle, plan to lose some sleep as these page turner will keep you from putting it down until the end. While I'll admit there were a few places that showed down as updates of the ongoing activities of these well defined characters took place but could count on more laughs and actions quickly returned. While these places did slow down the action of the book they also provided plenty of laughs and character development need for the climatic ending. Some of my favorite characters included mother nature and the maid of the castle along with the castle itself👏. For those who have read previous novels from the KGU, you'll love the Easter eggs 👀 scattered in places that startled laughs from me. Think my favorite was a comment about Pepsi that I really hasn't been expecting! Looking forward to reading the next in the series which should be out in March. Since it will be released the day before my birthday, on March 13, I already know how I'll be celebrating that day. And the ending was absolutely perfect!!💓

Endearing characters, with childish names, carry an otherwise lackluster series.

I really love some of these characters. The all too common tropes, excess of pop culture references, and overall younger reader styling, hope these books to a category of 4th grade through eighth grade recommendation, with a short shelf life. And yet I enjoy these stories very much. There are ever so many changes I would like to see in these books...There are numerous editing errors...I will be reading more of Sara Noffke's work. I look forward to recommending Sarah's books to the right readers. With proper editing these could be battle of the books competition worthy selections.

Any reader experienced with Michael Anderle knows that he is a wild card as a collaborator. He appears to be a catalyst for female writers to publish copiously, he has helped bring some very good stories to print and some awful dreck as well.

Sophia is sure that the clue to defeating Thad Reihart is in ‘The Complete History of Dragonriders. She has to find it before he destroys the Dragon Elite along with the House of Fourteen. Papa Creole sends her to find a special token before he’ll help her. Also Clark has asked her find a special Christmas present for her sister Liv.

I love the Australian desert test.

There are some really cool and different characters in this series. Mama Jamba, Papa Creole, King Rudolph to name a few.

Footnote: 1) I love, love the Castle. I like the thought of a building that repairs and cleans itself, though not sure I’d want to live in this one. I like the house Kaylin lives in Chronicles of Elantra better. It’s more friendly, accommodating and actually talks to you with an avatar.

Fave scenes: the Hester helping Sophia, the book shootout, Sophia’s revenge for a broken promise, the spider fight and Sophia standing up to the Council.

It's amazing how long these books are. But after reading each one It's obvious why. There is just so much to share when it comes to S. Beaufont. She is cleaver, fun, strong and brave. She thinks problems through in different ways than her male counterparts. That is one reason the Beaufont sisters Sophia and Liv are so fun to read as a fellow female. We tend to take on problems using mental force instead of brute force. It's fun to read how Sarah shows how different men and women are when given the same task. It's very entertaining and it fortifies how awesome woman are. I don't usually care much about battle scenes, I usually just read it for the information to continue into the story. I really enjoyed the battle in this book and let my mind play it out instead of just reading the words. I highly recommend all of Sarah Noffke's books. She hasn't written a bad one yet.

Long book in the series but it was well worth it, completed the ark of the storyline.

If you’ve enjoyed the previous books in the series you will enjoy this one, you get a lot more bang for your buck or your Kindle unlimited. The book is longer than most but chock-full of action character development and Snark. There is additional character development concerning Sophia and her dragon riding compatriots. Even though some threads were finished and closed off others still remain The inclusion of live and additional people from the previous series are welcome. This inclusion flushes the world out even more. I highly recommend this book in the series, and I am am eagerly awaiting the next book to see how the story progresses. Read it, you’ll enjoy it.

I really like this series. I enjoy the characters and esp like Sophia and how shes grown so much since the first book. I've kept it at a 3 rating just because the books are so long and It doesn't feel like I can speed through reading them. This book especially felt so slow to read. I don't know if it's because the 1 storyline has been dragged through 3 books (which really felt like 6 regular sized books) or what but it is sometimes a bit of a chore to read. I keep going because I like the majority of the characters and especially Sophia and Lunis. I really hope that now that that Thad arc is over it won't feel so sluggish to get through. I think for now I need a break from this series. But we'll see how long that lasts!

I honestly have no idea where to begin with this review. So I guess let's start with characters. You can tell that Noffke pours her heart and soul into each and every one that she writes. It's almost like she has a personal relationship with them. Quiet is an intriguing character that I hope we get to learn more about soon. Hiker is growing and turning into the leader he needs to be. I just wish that maybe Sophia wasn't quite so perfect.

I love the Castle, how it punishes and rewards its residents.

Even though I enjoyed this book, I had a harder time staying involved with it than the others. I am looking forward to picking up book 4 and seeing what Noffke has in store for us next.

Another great installment in the story of Sophia and Luna. They are still trying to bring the Dragonrider Elite into the modern world. But first, Sophia must fulfill her duties for Father Time and find the Complete Histories of the Dragonriders. As usual, her temper and drive keep her going and she succeeds where others would fail. She also matures a lot in this book. She may be only eighteen but she is wise beyond her age in many ways. I don't want to give anything away which would be very easy to do. I recommend this series to all age

A hecka long story

Yeah, I know but some people panic at any hint of a bad word and fanatically suppress them....It’s a wonder they allow any thought, except for that pesky First Amendment thing. Anyway this is a long book and a great story. The theme of good vs evil unfolding again, but surprisingly it grabs and immerses the reader in a not so unfamiliar world. Here there be dragons, and people who ride them, trying to protect the world from those who would destroy it. A great read, desperately needing a sequel.

It's supposed to be international but it's very USA-centric.
I don't like this series as much as Liv Beaufont, it's a shame because it has potential but are...taking the wrong? turns story-wise, can't really explain it but I can clearly see the authors writing process if that makes sense, and sometimes the story are too nearsighthed when it would have been greater from another point of view. It just feels like the story about S. Beaufont would have benefited more if it was more planned in a way.

So fantastic, it deserves 10 stars!

S. Beaufont is probably one of the best written and FUN female characters out there. Every part of this book was engrossing and surprising, even the argument over Christmas. I truly loved learning more about the Dragonrider's history, and hope that Sophie figures out how to help Ainsley.
But this book! But all of these books and the Liv ones too. You will never be sorry.

Story keeps getting better.

I really enjoy the close family ties that Liv and S. Beaufont bring to both series of books.
The Dragon Riders are so much fun to read and you can see so many adventures to come.
Thanks for the fun you add to my life and also the friends of mine that are reading your books as well. No more talk of burn out!
Peace to you and Lydia! Ready for the next book😎

Sophia and Lunis never disappoint. Magitech Rises is a great installment to the series. Plenty of action and adventure outside of the Castle. All the Dragon Riders are really growing on me and we learn more about their history, and in particular Hiker's. The story is very engaging and I love how the characters from Liv's books are still involved. Can't wait for what happens next with the Dragon Riders.

An amazing adventure

When you finish an awesome story you can't help but feel that the next book in the series can't possibly be better. Well you would be wrong this book tops them all. Sophia and Lunis were always my favorites, however each character is so well written it truly hard not to love them all even Evan... Sophia and Lunis continue to amaze everyone as she grows into her position. I wasn't sure anything could top Hikers battle but Mother Nature managed what was thought to be impossible.

The end of the beginning

Sophia Beaufont, the first female dragon rider, has increasing pressure on her to finish her training. But she still has tasks to carry out for various beings during which she sees the past and realises that people are more than they seem. Hiker has to find his confidence again and ready himself to take down the evil Thad.
And, dare I say it, romance is in the air for Sophia.

These guys write entertaining stuff

Yeah, some of it is a little juvenile...Yo momma is so ugly... Some of it is seriously tongue-in-cheek. The story progresses, you learn of the characters growth via trials & tribulations, interactions with others, and they set you up for.more.stories.in this universe, which will probably confinue to read.
Turned my wife onto S Beufont, now she's 5 books ahead of me and will probably start the Liv Beufont series next week.😋🤗😃😃

An ending and a beginning

This book ends the story arch of the dragonless menace. As Sophia and the other dragon riders race to the final showdown, what will happen? And how does Sophia fit into it all?

This was an excellent addition to this story world with many surprises along the way. Nothing is ever easy! All the pieces fall into place and I'm looking forward to the next book.

This is a spin off series from the "Unstoppable LIV Beaufont"..which is a great series. The story is about Sophia Beaufont (LIV's little sis) and about her being the 1st dragon rider in 100 years and 1st female rider EvER & all of her and her dragons challenges and adventures and love..ect.
I love the characters and personalities in this series and its funny. I also really enjoy how author pulls in charachters from Sister LiV story.
