Not bad for a free quickie. The fact that Nolan and Shilah are shifters made the insta-coupling more palatable. No mating nor HEA, though.

Slightly PWP-ish and completely missing the good shifter-angle (if you discount the whole sniffing thing). Also, it felt a bit rushed and didn't deliver on the "initial suspenseful" promise. It would've made it more interesting and more "digestible". 2 ½ stars

I'm not really into m/m, but this short story certainly would not have made me want to read more. From what I understand from people who read m/m, it's extremely hot, maybe more so than hetero. This was, I suppose, a "nice" story about a guy getting over a past love, it just wasn't hot. To me.

Changing Perspective is quite simply a short hot read. I like to call them sexcapades. Shilah is meandering around the world and stops for a reprieve in New Orleans. In the process of looking for work as a bouncer he finds so much more in owner of Animalia, Nolan. Nolan has no desire for another lover, especially one that runs with the pack responsible for the death of his last lover.

Shilah and Nolan both notice the instant attraction and lust. They show little resistance in giving into all that desire. Marilu Mann has given readers a smuttily hot read. This is definitely one to grab if you want a hot read and don’t have a lot of time to give to chase and buildup.
