[Frankie Andriolo]

I wanted to like this book because it's an author I met at a local convention. But I was so very close to not finishing it. The plot was thin, the main character was not only unlikeable, but bordered on sociopath/psychopath territory. The blood plague situation wasn't actually explained that well, the typos were distracting, I was hoping for more.

[Pippa Baker]

As always, I love Katy L. Wood's universes and the characters she puts in them. I can't wait for the rest of the series, I'll definitely be rereading this book when the next one comes out!
