Five stars for outstanding choices in this anthology.

Includes both "Autopsy" by Michael Shea, and "Mindworm" by CM Kornbluth, two of the creepiest stories I have ever read. The rest of the selections are also outstanding. This volume really leans toward horror more than SF.

An awesome collection of thought provoking science fiction stories. Great authors presenting little gems. A nice book to read in short sittings if you have a short little span of attention or no time to call your own.

Oh and since they are old stories, it is fun to look at the older future view of technology. Some times the author was spot on, others times really funny.

Well worth a read and a re-read (say when you find the book under your oldest sons bed where it has been hiding for a year or three)

A good themed SF collection.Standout's include RObert Silverberg's "The Reality Trip",Paul McCaulety and Kim Newman's "The Residuals" and L Timmel Duchamp's Motherhood ETC". Robert Reed's " Decency" and Ray nelson's "Eight O'Clock in the Morning" also made me sit up and take notice, even though I haven't heard of them before. THis collection seems a lot more consistent than some of Dozois and Dann's other compilations.

Fairly interesting cross-section of how people might envision aliens in hiding.

The last story, "Motherhood, etc." by L. Timmel Duchamp was so good that I immediately purchased two anthologies by Duchamp - it featured at least SOME thought about alien genders instead of defaulting to male/female and was so good overall that it outshone all the other stories in the anthology easily.
