A quick read about a Texas Ranger and his cousin's widow. Clayton Walker is sent to Purgatory, Texas to solve a string of burglaries. He does not know his Aunt is the one responsible for getting him sent there. She is matchmaking for her son's widow Regan. Regan is like a female Robin Hood and takes from the rich to get money for the poor at the orphanage.
Clayton doesn't take long to fall for the redhead and lots of excitement follows. A fun tale with some pretty strong sex scenes in it. I enjoyed the book.
