A must read for anyone involved in adoption. It’s tough and real, heartwarming and heartbreaking. An eye opening story that is a challenge to all of us embarking on this journey.

As a patiently waiting adoptive parent, this book was insightful into the world of open adoption from a birth mother perspective. I have the upmost respect for the strength of birth mothers as making the decision to/or not to place their baby for adoption is beyond one of the most difficult choices. We look forward to the relationship we will build with our birth mother when matched!!

WOW -- this book really impacted my view of birthmothers. I had no idea that I had opinions about them before I started reading this book, but just a few pages into it, I had tears streaming down my face and told my husband I was already trying to figure out how to start a ministry at church for birthmothers. (ha ha) It increased my excitement to not only get our baby, but to get our birthmother! I know that God has someone great picked out for us and I can't wait to meet her!
