Leuke tips maar ik miste een beetje de routes. Ik kan zelf ook wel losse tips opzoeken 😅. En een beetje jammer dat alle foto’s in het zwart wit zijn. Maarja alsnog cant wait x
For the most part, the reading the book was really useful on giving tips to the various locations of the country on our trip to Japan. Now, we didn't venture very far and wide during our trip (Tokyo/Kyoto/Osaka) but we did find that some of the shops or restaurants recommended are no longer there because they moved or closed down.
Otherwise, it had been a great travel guide and I did refer to it quite often whilst on the trip itself :).
Sorry, I don’t like to be too critical, but this book really does not go into great depth on anything. I read it in less than one hour. Not sure if it was translated, but some of its language is clunky, like it was written by a fifth grader. Other times it mentions dates in 2018 or 2019, so it does not seem up to date. I’m not sure I learned anything new that will help planning my trip to Japan. Would not recommend.
Good information and surprised to see most recommendations included in my upcoming cherry blossom tour. Really good information if you are planning to travel without a tour group. No practical information about money, credit/debit cards, etc. I think this might need to be updated after 5 years things change.
The grammar was sometimes incorrect. Some of the "facts" in the book are not for children to read. Many of the suggestions are the personal opinion of the author. On the positive side, this book gives information that is not in a common tourist guide, and quirky info on the culture and customs.
Provides a good summary of what to do in Japan and what not to do. How ever some bits were missing like having a.bag to take your rubbish away. But Overall a concisw read
