Regular-as-toast Sophia never had the splendid life. She was an eighteen year old college undergrad who lived in a shoe-box apartment with her dad, worked two jobs to pay for her sick mother’s medical bills, and had zero time for a personal life. Mundane was boring… but safe . She’d already lost her twin sister in a deadly car accident, and figured life couldn’t get any worse.
But when Dayne Nightroad, an imperious yet sinfully sexy vampire CEO, kidnaps her, her whole world is forever changed. For better or for worse? Only Sophia can decide, and right now, things were definitely far from mundane.
She learns that she is the reincarnation of the queen of vampires, and to turn her would require drinking the blood of a pure blooded vampire, AKA, the CEO of Bloodborne himself. Sophia is fated to Dayne, and Dayne will do everything in his power to protect her from the other vampire clans looking to abuse her dormant strength.
But in a mansion filled with delicious vampire men, temptation runs high, and secrets complicate the relationship Sophia is to have with Dayne.
Will she learn to love him, or let their enemies take over? (This dark romance doesn't end in a Happily Ever After or a Happy For Now)
Nothing like a redemption plot twist to sync it all up in the end. This was a good book to relax and read over the weekend. The dialogue was pretty good and there was a-lot happening to keep you actively involved in the book. I enjoy not liking characters and there are some in here which shows the talent of the author to push different emotions on you. I’d recommend this to my friends that don’t mind romance series and like vampires. One thing I thought wasn’t needed was the descriptions in the front of the different type of vampires I figured they could just be explained in the story so it wasn’t needed.
