This was a long book, but most of the time, the fun plot kept my attention anchored. This is Book 7 of this series and I have not read the others but what I can say is that the world built by VF was very surprising and quirky. I am not really a fantasy book girl (except in a very 'controlled' and attention catching world setting) and I was at first taken aback by the gamut of fantasy creatures/ gods and worlds all existing together (except for 🦄, lol), and the weird rules and customs. But since the characters were so charming and their love story had that little bit of extra something, I quickly took things in my stride.
The 'Dream Wanderer' plot device was very well done and added a whole new dimension to the romance of Evie and Kit. There was adventure, some sweet angst, even some tiny OW drama, and a lot of falling in love. It felt true and pure. Evie was a very original heroine, definitely not your average princess. But somehow, Kit's character made my heart melt the way he was so convinced that Evie was his destined mate despite all obstacles. And while the book was essentially a big fantasy fairy tale, I can tell that the author did not make sex a taboo subject in their world. The things they frankly said (in family settings, in public 😅) and did in private (more or less, lol) were scorchingly hot 🌶! Not for prude eyes for sure 🥵!
Where the book could have been better is that it would have greatly benefitted from a good editor. Besides the little typos here and there (that can be ignored), the plot writing needed some rounding off because sometimes there were some repetition of ideas, and at other times good ideas came across a little bit awkwardly on page.
P.S. A really beautiful cover, though not really matching the story.

So, i started reading this before I read in the blurb: “This book is part of a series but can be read as a standalone. Enough information given should give you their whole story. ”
And I will say that I have never thought that it was true because it never is.. Either it gives to much history so it just feels like a broken record or it just feels like flashbacks from a 3rd POV with zero feels for the characters because us new readers do not know them so after a while it tends to draw out the plot and add 100 unnecessary pages.. You get what I’m saying. BUT this book did NOT lead me astray as a new reader. It gave exactly as promised and delivered a beautiful and powerful love story about the strongest of bonds and how friends can blossom to lovers and most of all, how to be a man in the best of ways by nurturing a young girls strength without holding back his own. By challenging her without shaming her for being stronger or more of a tomboy than a dainty flower. By letting her grow in to her own and becoming the woman she is mend to be and him becoming the man who is worthy of her and who she needs. Ok so I’ll stop now because otherwise I’ll never stop.
I love the characters in this book. And I fell in love with this world and Im so happy that I get to start from the beginning with this universe.. I’m always jealous of new readers that gets to experience a series for the first time because I 99% of the time always waiting for the next book or I start from scratch and read the whole thing in one

Great story!
I love all the books in this series so far, Vera Foxx sure knows how to write captivating stories. The way each book intertwines with the previous books, it's like she wrote the whole series at once, then broke it up into individual stories. She says most of them can be read as stand-alone stories, but I disagree. You need the background of the previous books to fully grip the storyline and understand what is going on. All of the characters to date have been wonderful! I've fallen in love with each of them in their own way, it's been great! The only thing that disappoints me about the books is the actual writing. Bad sentence structures, grammar, spelling... eg using to instead of too, and vice versa. Getting me and I wrong. Idk about you, but I expect a little more from authors, being that writing is their job. Plus, aren't these stories supposed to be proofread? I shouldn't have to rewrite a sentence in my head for it to make sense. That said, these stories have everything you could want to read about, and that's why I recommend them to everyone 18+. Sorry, youngens, there's a lot of adult content. Enjoy!

This review is for myself, for me to remember why I rated this low.
Ugh.. sigh... I just don't know.
There's a lot LOT that doesn't make sense. Plot holes, random info thrown in at random moments that's never given a backstory or is explained. Typos.. very cringy convos and most characters have unrealistic reactions to situations.
I'm not a stranger to these types of books/genres but woof this was interesting 🤔
I'm not even sure there was a plot? The whole middle 'travel to earth' part seemed unnecessary and there was a lot of odd filler.. idk, not sure I'll read more.. other reviews also have said similar things about the other books written by this author so I'm not very excited to explore further. Not the worst book I've read but definitely falls short to the greats I have read.

"Alpha of Her Dreams" is another Vera Foxx winner. Her books are beautifully written and engrossing from the first page and this one is no different. Princess Evelyn is a warrior who has been verbally abused by her grandmother for years and has suffered because if it. She is lost in her dreams that are kinder than reality and becomes a Dream Wanderer. She meets Kit in a dream when she is young and only knows him as "Warrior". They stay connected in her dreams for years until she meets him in the real world.
Their relationship is very deep in their dreams and becomes complicated in real life as they learn more about themselves and one another. There are a number of trials they have to go through to find their happily ever after and when they do, the steam level is off the charts!

Amazing story
It's not my first book by this author , I fact I have read and reviewed Evelyn' s parents story as well as other from this realm. I absolutely adore author way of writing. Story telling is amazing and it quickly capture your heart.
In this instant we have a love story when FC basically dreams her perfect other half . Without spoilers, interactions between main characters are beautiful, they are growing along with them. If you like strong FMC and wise and possessive MC you won't be disappointed.
Absolute 💯 % yes from me 😉

Surprisingly, this book worked well as a standalone even thought it is the seventh in the series. I will say that even though I enjoyed the story overall, there were something’s I didn’t like about it. The way time passed in the novel was a little weird. You didn’t know how much time had passed until you were already well into the scene and see a large time gap. There were also some pretty harsh punishments compared to the crimes which I thought was a little archaic. But it was still entertaining.

Vera Foxx has done it again with this shift series book! This story was entertaining, riveting, with so many loops it had you holding your breath because you were never quite sure it which direction the book would end! This is a must read for something fun, easy, and steamy to read. Thanks for the opportunity to be an ARC reader.

I was reading this cause I was sad and needed a pick me up. Spoiler alert it did the job, shit was so cute! Sure the cover and title are questionable but kindles Recs really be doing it’s thang 👌🏽 the pining between them *mwah* the pet names were cringe asf ngl but very sweet 😘 though one thing annoyed me, it kept doing time skips without letting yk, like bestie why am I half way through the chapter and finding out it’s 8 years later 💀

This was such a good book. I loved the premise of Kit and Evelyn meeting in their dreams every night. It was very cute to see them grow up together and form such a strong bond. But don't let that fool you - the spice level definitely picks up some by the end of the book!

Second generation!!
I just live when a series goes to the second generation so you still know what every character you love is doing LOL
This serie starts with Clara and Kane and goes on with their friends and allies and now we see their children's adventures ❤️ and by the looks of it we get a third generation meeting their mates 😍 I just love a story that keeps giving twists and turns, love, adventures, fierce women and caring man. Keep them coming!!

This was a fab book was so good to see that little Kit had grew into a strong fierce warrior to protect the royal family like he always dreamed an that Clara an Kanes first born had her fathers nature rather than the prim an proper princess made the story more exciting. I was very excited to see Kit and Evelyn's story finally arrived.
I enjoyed how the met eachother in dreams not realizing who eachother were. I also enjoyed seeing Kane and Clara once again.
Now I'm excited to know Marcus and Melody have an upcoming story.

love this series Book 7 did not disappoint
We are introduced to the next generation and it was very good. Who would have thought there was so much drama in the lives of the young adults - children of the characters of the first 6 books.
