"REIT Investing for Beginners: How to Get Rich in Real Estate" is a gem for anyone new to the world of REITs. The book is short and to the point, making it easy to digest. It does a great job explaining the different options you have when it comes to REITs and why they’re an important part of a well-rounded investment portfolio.

What I really appreciated was how the author breaks down why REITs are such a solid alternative for those who can't dive directly into real estate. Let’s face it, not everyone can buy property, but REITs give you a piece of the real estate action without needing a massive investment. This book makes a convincing case for why, including REITs in your portfolio, can be a smart move for steady income and diversification.

Overall, it’s an engaging and informative read that leaves you feeling more confident about investing in REITs. Perfect for beginners who want to get started with real estate investing without the hassle of buying property.

Short book. I had a basic understanding of REITs already. This gave me just a little more than the basics, so I did learn a couple of things. I think the explanations of evaluation metrics was good and the examples were useful. I can't say that I thought their suggested REITs did a good job of meeting their own evaluation criteria, but then again investing is always about personal choices and evaluations. Besides, they were presented more as potential investments versus "must buys".

I did enjoy reading an investing book for once that was about the "meat" of the process versus a lot of philosophical musings. That said, it was a little sparse - probably worth the $7 on sale I got it for, but not much more.

Good, solid advice

When you are approaching 50 you need good, solid advice which this book provides in spades. This is the second book I have read from Freeman and I like the layman's style of writing because we are not all investing whizz kids and every little bit of easy to follow advice is helpful. Keep up the good work.

Great book to get started in REIT investing.

Great basic book on REITs. It gave me an actionable plan to start investing more in them. Could update some of the recommendations, but even the poorer performing ones are great to look at and analyze for case studies.

Sirve de iniciación en el mundo de los REITs. Es sencillo, corto y va bastante al grano. Evidentemente es necesario un mínimo de conocimiento en el mundo de la inversión y las finanzas.

Although it's a good book it has some terrible errors that make it lose all the credibility.
