This is a coming of age story set in the 25th century. Kathy Sterling is a young orphan who is selected to attend the planet Destiny Naval Academy. The story follows her through her through her time at the Academy and highlights her midshipman cruises where she learn the responsibilities of a naval officer. During her three cruises she is forced by circumstances to assume heroic leadership roles and make decisions far beyond her years and levels of experience. See how this young country girl develops into a confident naval officer in the 25th century space navy.

I am am big reader and one of my favorite types of fiction includes space warfare and military books. I have now added Chuck Neighbors to my list of favorite science fiction authors that include B.V. Larson and Christopher G. Nuttall and Bob Blanton.
Chuck’s new book, “Destiny” is incredible, I couldn’t put it down. If you love good books with a great central hero, you need to read “Destiny”.
