This is my first book by M. Piper, and I absolutely loved everything about it. I love brother's best friend books, and this author definitely wrote an intriguing one. I was hooked from the very first page.

I love the heroine Sadie, she was an amazing character who really loved her mimi. She wants to be with Archer even though he is her twin brothers best friend, and knows he will be mad about it. She wants to keep it a secret from him.

Archer was my favorite of all the characters in the book. He was dominant in bed, romantic when it counted, and he had so many wonderful qualities.

I love Archer and Sadie as a couple. They have so much passion and chemistry. The sex scenes between them are super hot 🔥🔥🔥

I want to know more about the secondary characters
Sam was so damaged and broken from his past. I really hope he gets his own book.

Rory is always there for Sadie, but her life and past are a mystery. I would love to know more about her.

This book had it all: the hot best friend, the broody brother, love, heartbreak, secrets, hot sex scenes, and an intriguing storyline.

Oh my heart.....

Sadie and Archer have the most perfect story which I was given a snippet of in an anthology and I am over the moon they received their own full length story! Sadie has gone through so much losing her parents when she was young, taking care of her grandmother who is ill and living with her brother too. Archer is her brother's best friend which leaves any possibility for a relationship out of bounds - or does it? The chemistry and tension between these two create for the perfect tug and pull on the heart strings and create for such an enjoyable read. This story was well written and kept my attention the entire time while reading and pulling on my heart strings just hoping these two will figure it out and work out.

Great read and set aside some time as this is definitely a one sitting read.

2AM Secrets by M. Piper may be the first book that I have read from this author, but it certainly won’t be the last. It was such a fun and sexy read_ I am really kicking myself for not ‘discovering’ Ms. Piper’s books before now. The exciting part is now that I have, I can explore all her other works too- something I am definitely looking forward to.
This is a very hot and spicy brothers’ best friend/best friends sister contemporary romance that just sizzles off the pages. But there is more to the story than just a steamy story- there is humour, emotion, fun, passion, romance, banter, secrets, tension, heartache, a little drama, and fantastic characters. I really connected with the characters, getting all wrapped up in their story and rooting for them right from the beginning.
Sadie has had feelings for Archer for as long as she can remember- he’s always been a part of her life. But, he’s her twin brother’s best friend- which makes him off limits- not to mention he’s almost like a brother to her too. She definitely shouldn’t have ‘those’ kind of feelings for him- so she tries to act like he doesn’t affect her, but there is a sexy, flirty, charged tension in the air whenever he’s around.
Archer has wanted Sadie for the longest time- life just wouldn’t be the same without her in it- and would really love to be more than just her brother’s best friend. He wants Sadie. Come New Year’s Eve feelings and chemistry combust- leading to a secret tryst. What happens when secrets are revealed? This is well worth the read to find out…
Can’t wait to explore more of M. Piper’s work!

Wow! I didn’t realize how much I needed a hot steamy and funny read until I finished 2am Secrets by M. Piper. I had read some heavy books up until this one and it was a breath of light fresh air when I least expected it. I wasn’t sure what I would get because I have not read M. Piper previous to this novel, but I knew from the sexy and bright cover and the blurb I would probably be pleasantly surprised, and I was so glad to say that I was! This book had it all and was written with finesse and passion that just jumped off the kindle screen into my head as if I was right there with the characters.

This may be an age old story line, girl falls in love with her best friend's brother but he is off limits, but it is written in a way that still seemed fresh and relevant to now. I found myself laughing out loud and fanning myself as I read several times. The two main characters, Sadie and Archer are amazing and strong in each their own ways which makes them and their story more reasonable and believable. I loved how it ended and I am so looking forward to going to find out what else is already available by M. Piper while I anxiously await the newest thing from her!

That's the ultimate dream, right? To ride off into the sunset with that boy you crushed on for your entire life?

Of course it is.

But when that boy finally starts catching feelings...what do you do??

Loving your brother's best friend is one thing, but having him want you back? That's a whole different ballgame.

And it's one you'll want to see Sadie and Archer explore.

Sadie and Archer have amazing chemistry. Amazing chemistry you root for those guys. What will her brother think ld this development in their relationship. What a lovely ending. I would highly recommend reading this book

I really enjoyed this book. Sadie and Sam are twins who lost their parents at an early age and now take care of their ailing grandmother. Sadie is a bartender and Sam works for his best friend, Archer, who owns a security firm. Archer is off limits to Sadie because he's Sam's best friend, but he wants her as much as she wants him. Their relationship takes a turn to lovers on New Year's Eve, but they can't tell Sam. Can their happiness get them through the fallout that's bound to come when Sam finds out?

I really loved the characters. Archer was amazing and would do anything for Sadie. She's a strong woman who loves her family. The side characters were great too. I'd love to see more of these characters in the future, especially Sam.

Sadie Richards is a bartender who lost her parents at a young age and is now caring for her sick grandmother. She has a twin brother, Sam, who she is close with and they have one important rule. No hooking up with friends. Easy, right.... At least until it's not.

Archer Crowe, Sam's best friend and owner of a security company. (In my opinion the perfect man.)

Ok, you guys, this book was perfect. Really I loved every minute of it. The loss and heart break, the fighting and drama, the red hot passion, the sweetest moments shared, the encouraging friend who had her back and set her straight, and the ending for the most part.

I really hope there is another book following Sam. I really want to dig into his brain and see why he is the way he is and, you know, not be disappointed in him anymore. I really loved him and his relationship with Sadie and Archer at the beginning and would love to see it back to that. I love how in this book Sadie and Archer always wanted one another but held back until they just couldn't fight the pull to each other any longer. Most books the brothers friend didn't really notice the girl for the years she was madly in love and wishing. At least until they are grown and, I don't know, she is finally hot enough to catch his eye. I was a great and refreshing change for me.

Without giving to much away, because I hate spoilers, Sam is why I say I kinda love the end, I mean it was perfect for Sadie and Archer, just missing Sam is all. So yeah, this book was amazing and I'm patiently waiting on Sam's story. Wishing, hoping, please don't leave us hanging. A must read, for real though, don't miss out on this steaming hot story.

2am Secrets was a great 5 star steamy read.
I was pulled in right from the beginning.

We start with Sadie trying to find her keys, once again and risking being late for work on a big tip night, New Years Eve. Archer offers to take her but she knows that wouldn’t be a good idea. Archer is her brother's best friend and someone she needs to stay away from. The last few times these two were around each other sparks have been flying. Sadie made an agreement with her brother to but it’s getting harder and harder to resist.

When Archer and her brother show up at the bar things get very interesting. Archer is pushing the limits when her brother isn’t around, it’s thrilling and hot but dangerous as well. When Archer agrees to stay and make sure she gets home ok, he makes his move and gets her to agree to come to his hotel room. And let’s just say it was a heck of a steamy scene. Let's just say things get even steamier and more interesting from here.

Archer wants more with Sadie, can Archer convince her? What will happen if her brother discovers their secret?

I really liked both Sadie and Archer. Archer is hot, dominant, romantic and caring. Sadie was just as feisty in bed and I loved her strength and caring side. All of the secondary characters were great. Grandma was my favorite. I would love to see more from some of the other characters. I look forward to Sam’s story. I LOVED the fact that M. Piper took the short that was in the anthology and made it into a full-length novel because there was so much more to be told in the stories about these characters. And, let me tell you, when the story is over, you pray there is another book because you need to know what happens to Sam, Sadie, Archer, Rory, and Lyssa. Mallory has a way of writing characters that are real life, like people you might know, and you get invested immediately and this is what happens when you start this book.

Sadie and Sam are twins. Archer is Sam’s best friend. Archer and Sadie like each other but are “off limits” because of Archer and Sam’s friendship and the fact that Sadie is his sister. However, Archer and Sadie are tired of fighting the attraction, tired of acting like they don’t feel anything for each other, so they start a relationship behind Sam’s back. And for a long time, this works, but as you know, all good things come to an end, and Sam is bound to find out.

This has emotion, a few laughs, great characters, and at the end of the book, you want the story to keep going on. Mallory also has a way of ending a book leaving you hoping there will be more in the series because there are just too many things left unanswered. Book number two please??

I loved this forbidden romance story, Sadie and Archer have sizzling chemistry but Sadie’s overprotective twin brother Sam is also Archers best friend and the two have kept their attraction to each other to themselves for years. Having stopped fighting their attraction and chemistry during a New Years Eve party and spending the night together the two then can’t deny that they have something special and that it was more than a one night stand. However keeping it a secret from everyone so as not to hurt Sam, who seems to be on self destruct, puts a strain on their new relationship and once their secret is out, can any of them survive the fall out.
This was a forbidden romance but with enough twists in the storyline to keep it unpredictable and it also touched on sensitive issues such as bereavement, ill health and addiction. The characters which I fell in love with are likeable and realistic and I was fully immersed in their world whilst reading the book. This book was full of drama, romance, steamy sex scenes and took me on an emotional rollercoaster whilst reading it. I was cheering Sadie and Archer on, wanting them to have their HEA. I could not put this book down and I’m looking forward to reading more books by M.Piper.

I was so intrigued when I saw the trailer post and I’m happy to say I was NOT disappointed ! Was lucky enough to read an ARC of 2am Secrets and I enjoyed every bit of it! I’m really hoping this continues with Sams journey because I’m so mad at him and I want to see him redeem himself and give the apology Archer and Sadie deserve. I loved that their story started off with their mutual attraction to each other. A lot of brother best friend romances I’ve read are either the female pining after and never being noticed OR second chance romances. It was refreshing to see this start off as uncontrollable attraction and how it was more about resisting than it was about finding their way to each other. There’s nothing I love more than a story that is DIFFERENT from the every day normal. When you read a book a day, some stories just start to read all the same. This was definitely a one of kind to me. And reading Sams destruction was just as heartbreaking and infuriating at the same time. I wanted to jump through the page and knee him in his special parts for touching Rory. My emotions were completely invoked into this story. Really great work and can’t wait to see if there will be more!

I loved reading 2am Secrets by M. Piper. The story is romantic as well as steamy. The temperature in the room will rise when reading. I was pulled in from the beginning and didn’t want to put the book down until I had read the last page. I loved reading about the main characters. She has a crush on her brother’s best friend. He feels the same way about her. There is a strong attraction and the chemistry between them is off the charts. They fit together. They also are keeping their attraction secret from her brother. What would happen if her brother found out? What does the future hold for the two of them? Read this book to find out. This is a story that had my emotions going up and down the whole way through. There are heartbreaking moments as well as heartwarming ones. I enjoyed reading about the main characters and I was rooting for them to find happiness. I also enjoyed reading about the other characters introduced. The author does a wonderful job of writing a story that had me reading into the night in order to find out what happens. I would highly recommend reading this book.

Beautiful book, sweet, sexy, painful and heartbreaking all in one. The characters and storyline are perfect. I love stories about falling in love with brother’s best friend, and this one was great because of all the background issues. My heart ached for Sam and Sadie in regards to their grandmother. I can’t decide who I felt more loss for, Sam, with the way he and his life spiraled out of control or Sadie, who seemed conflicted due to her brother’s actions and words as well as dealing with her relationship and feelings for Archer. Archer was a total prince, in that he was always there for Sadie, and always wanted to be around her to help her with anything. I could see how much love he had for her. The ending was rough, it left me hoping for a second book, maybe to see how Sam changes his life. I was thinking maybe he may end up getting involved with Sadie’s friend Rory, but being introduced to Archer’s cousin Lyssa at the end gets me wondering if maybe her and Sam…. I would highly recommend this book.

There’s a saying that nothing good happens after midnight....except hot guys, especially at 2 a.m. My first by this author so I didn’t really know what to expect but the blurb and that cover definitely caught my eye. I won an ARC in a giveaway, so this was my feelings about the book.

What did I like? Archer flirted heavily with Sadie so you kind of knew going in where the flow was going. Sam is her twin brother, and is fiercely protective of Sadie to the point of violence. I loved the chemistry between Archer and Sadie but for most of the book I wondered what is wrong with Sam.

Would I recommend or buy? This reads like a taboo relationship since Sam and Archer are besties, and bro code says no messing with Sam’s sister. It’s a fun book, with a sweet HEA so if that’s your thing then grab with both hands.

Thoughts for the author? Congratulations on your new! Thanks so much for the giveaway so I could read and give my honest opinion. So ready for Sams story.

Another fantastic book from this author! I adored Archer. Such a caring guy who just wants to do the right thing, but also wants the girl he’s dreamed of for so long.
And Sadie is this kickass, determined gal who struggles with her feelings for Archer and not wanting to upset her brother.
Sam has his issues. He’s not only determined to keep men away from his twin sister, he’s also struggling with the deteriorating health of his grandmother. He and Sadie take turns watching her, but it’s taking its toll on their relationship.

I loved watching Sadie open up to Archer and allow herself to be loved. Her relationship with Mimi (their grandmother) was cute; she’s quite the character.

I also have to give mention to Rory, Sadie’s friend. I’m hoping she will get a story of her own because she was just as kickass as Sadie!

Great story that will have you grinning one minute, swooning the next, and then maybe cursing a little too 😂

2AM Secrets by M. Piper is a first for me by this author and I enjoyed the story very much. This intriguing story had all the right ingredients for a hot and steamy romance, there is the hot best friend of the hot but moody brother, love and loss, heartbreak and heartache, secrets and lies, laughter and hot and sizzling sexy time. I absolutely fell in love with the characters and Ms Piper did a great job on them and with the telling of her story.

Archer has loved her for so long he can’t imagine not having her in his life, but he wants more. Unfortunately, there is one thing standing in his way, his best friend. But doesn’t he deserve to have what he wants?

Sadie is always dancing around the man she has loved her whole life, but it can never be, all because he is her brother's best friend and that is a definite no go no matter what her heart wants.

I loved it so much I need to have more.

2am Secrets by M. Piper is the first book that I have read by this author and judging by how much I enjoyed this one, it won’t be the last. I’m always pensive about trying a new author but I needn’t have worried as I thoroughly enjoyed this book.
Sadie Richards and her twin brother Sam lost their parents at a young age and have been brought up by their grandmother, who is now in ill health. Sam’s best friend Archer Crowe was also instrumental in getting Sam through his parent’s death.
For years there has been a fire simmering between Sadie and Archer, who finally decides one New Year that he’s had enough of waiting and makes a move on Sadie. Sadie would like nothing better than having a relationship with archer but knows that her brother would be livid and they don’t want to upset him as he’s struggling to cope with their grandmother’s ill health. I must add that their grandmother Mimi is the most amazing character. Nothing gets past this woman and she’s just wonderful.
This is a fantastic story filled with love romance and a good deal of angst. Both Sadie and Archer are desperate to be together but don’t want to rock the boat. Can they be together and have a HEA? Will Sam freak out when he finds out about their relationship? I really suggest that you read this book and find out?

Sadie grew up alongside her brother’s best friend, Archer. Archer should’ve been like a big brother to her but she never saw him like that. She saw the good in him through everything bad that was happening in her life and he saw her through all the storms she’d been through.
One New Year’s changed everything in their relationship as they knew it. Sadie has been wanting Archer ever since she could remember. She’d been craving for him to notice and want him just as bad as she wanted him. She’d experienced hell in not knowing how to make her dreams a reality as far as he was concerned. As soon as those dreams do become reality, someone was doomed to get hurt and expose their 2AM secrets into the dawn of day.
This story is full of steamy scenes where you’re vying for the characters to get together and you’re rooting for their best interest. This is a great book to read and get into. I couldn’t put this one down. Chapter after chapter, I was glued to the page!

I am a sucker for brother’s best friend/forbidden romances…and this one delivers! Sadie is a bartender in Chicago. Sam works for the security company that his best friend, Archer, runs. Sam and Sadie have a rule that they will never date each other’s friends. Up until now…that has never been a problem. There has always been a connection between Sadie and Archer, but they never acted on it…until New Year’s Eve. And once the door was opened…there was no going back.

The story that follows is full of secret rendezvous and stolen kisses. Sadie and Archer know that Sam will not accept their relationship…but they are helpless to stop their own happiness. There were moments of happiness, anger, and despair throughout the book. There were also a lot of other storylines introduced that could (hopefully) be stories in the future. I will definitely be keeping an eye out for them.

OMGosh! This book! These characters! So sexy! I absolutely LOVE the connection these characters have! I can’t get enough. The emotions are just flying off the pages! I literally stayed up late finishing this book! It’s full of drama, tension, love and a secret. This is going on my list of favorite reads to be re-read over and over.

Sadie, Archer and Sam. They have that bond of trust between them. Sister, brother and best friend. It’s a thin line to walk when two of them start to blur that line. I really loved the new couple then started to dislike the remaining one. We all want to protect the ones we love...but how far will they go?

This is a first time author for me! I loved her writing style. It drew me into the story and characters effortlessly. I look forward to more from her. Hopefully Sam's story.

2AM Secrets by M. Piper. How is this the first I’ve read by this author?? This book was incredible and I can’t wait to see what else this amazing author has to offer now that I’ve found her. From the description I knew I’d like this story but “like” doesn’t even come close to how I ended up feeling about this story. Try Loved!! The characters had me completely hooked from start to finish. I’m a sucker for a a forbidden type story it’s just right in my eyes. And this author writes forbidden so very well. I simply couldn’t put this book down no matter how much little sleep I got. The connection between the characters jumps off the pages and at times I forgot I was reading. My emotions were definitely all over but I loved every minute of it. It’s well written and paced nicely never feeling rushed or lacking anything. Five huge stars and highly recommended!!

M. Piper is a new author to me and I jumped into the book without blinders on. There comes a point in people’s lives that no one wants to admit. There is an attraction to your sibling’s best friend. You try to ignore it because you do not want to hurt their relationship, but on the inside you want that person. That is the kind of love 2AM Secrets is about. Sadie and Sam are twins and they promised each other no relationships with the other’s friends. They were off limits. That was until Sadie started to have feelings for Archer (who happens to be Sam’s best friend).Both tried to stay away from each other, but the attraction was strong. Will Sadie and Archer give in to the attraction? Will they be able to keep the secret from Sam? You will have to read this story to find out this information and more.

OMG what an emotional read this was! My final words were, in order, "omg yay!" and "is there going to be a second book about Sam?"
This is one.of if not the top favorite trope of mine in romance books. The brothers best friend and while there are many, this one was on a whole other level. We aren't teased with the build up it was hot from beginning to end, but real life is also woven into this story and done so well. You could feel the emotions and intensity of everything pouring off the pages.
I love Sadie and her strength. And while she doesn't ask for it she takes the strength Archer gives to her well and they were perfect. I cried, I laughed and i wanted to beat a character a time or two but its all needed for this story to be the amazing work it is.

This book has left me in a book hangover.
The dynamics of this story are simply amazing.
I could not put this book down like at all (I read this in 1 sitting because it drew me in so much).
This is going to take you on a journey, there were multiple times where my eyes did that water build up thing, but on the flip side of that there were more times that I had a smile on my face or I was LOLing at one of these two.
This book definitely brings the feels so make sure you have a Piper kit around (drink of choice, Kleenex, maybe some chocolate, no need for bubble wrap with this one all reading devices should remain safe LOL)
Everyone needs to read this book, I know we are just at the beginning of the year, but this for sure is my favorite book of 2020!

If you love brothers best friend romances then look no further then 2am Secrets. M. Piper brings in the family drama and the heat with this one. You will love Sadie and Archer together. You feel the chemistry from the beginning and it just grows stronger and a lot sexier. You feel for them when trying to figure out how to tell Sadie's brother Sam. Sadie is everything. I love how strong she is and just so caring even after Sam slowly goes off the deep end. Sam you feel for him and everything they all go through. You understand why he has his slide. I really need a book for Sam like now. I want to know what happens after and of course more Sadie and Archer. Your heart will be stole by Archer and Sadie, just saying. Go one click this one and sink your teeth in the love of Sadie and Archer.

The Synopsis is what caught my attention, but I did have trouble with the beginning of the story, it was very busy.
Too much was going on, it’s like your in the room of a loud and crowded party and your trying to tell a story quietly amongst them so the storyline was hard to pick up.
But after the first few chapters it went on very well and to me this was a good story!
I look forward to reading more from M.Piper :)

2AM Secrets is my first book by M. Piper and all I can say is I want more. From the first chapter, I was hooked and couldn’t put this book down. Archer is Sadie’s twin brother’s best friend and of course, Archer is off-limits but that doesn’t stop these two from having secret feelings for each other. Archer is ready to stake his claim on Sadie, but will one night be enough or are they going to have to sneak around? And we know someone is going to catch them it’s only a matter of time.

WARNING – your reading device may see some smoke, due to some very hot bedroom scenes. This book will have you laughing out loud and rooting for this couple to make it work. I can’t wait to see if there is going to be a second book about Sam and one of Sadie’s friends.
