This is the true story of my sons battle with addiction. It is an honest story of my love for him, the mistakes that were made before and after addiction, and what led to his eventual recovery.
As the mother of an addict myself (and knowing quite a few of the characters in this book) I sobbed through a lot of this story. I added stories of my own in my head to go along with the stories in this book. This story is real and raw and not pretty. And I hope that my son will read it and find some peace for himself in it. I think this book will resonate with anyone who has ever had to deal with an addict.
