The River of Evil.Countdown to Terror. 4 Murders. 3 Men of honour. 2 Enemies. 1 River. 0 Chance.Three men in a desperate escape from terror. Burma as you never want to see it . . . And a forbidding, murderous and silent, hiding the greatest secret of the 21st century.
It's poorly written. The real story starts toward the middle of the book and the suspense is too bland to arouse emotion. Kodus to the end for the clever plot but the book lacks the power to enliven readers, me in particular.
Thought it was going to be a fictional travel story about a couple of mates in Burma. It turned into a fast pace action and suspense novel about two thirds of the way through. A touch unbelievable in places that will become obvious but a quick and entertaining read.
