It started out as fun and games. We were never supposed to be anything more than temporary. But, before I knew it, I was in the middle of an unconventional relationship with sisters—twin sisters.
Becca
Somewhere along the way, I fell in love with him. He became my everything. The only thing standing between me and my happily ever after, he's also in a relationship with my identical twin sister.
Jessa
What happens when you and your sister willingly agree to share the same boyfriend? Secrets, lies, and misunderstandings begin to shadow the relationship—that's what happens.
T.R. Cupak was born and raised in the suburbs of a Bay Area city in California. She now lives in a quiet town south of where she grew up with her husband and their Shih Tzu Harley and German shepherd Mac.
Saying she is obsessed with cars is an understatement. Since her sixteenth birthday, she's had at least thirty-three vehicles. Cupak is a self-proclaimed wine and bourbon enthusiast. She also loves a wide variety of music—anything from classical, EDM, rock, pop, country, and heavy metal, to name a few.
When she's not at work or busy writing, you can find her curled up with a good book or binge-watching a random series while enjoying a glass of wine or bourbon neat.
"Shattering hearts and piecing them back together one story at a time." -T Cupak
Tangled with the Twins truly has so much potential but fell somewhat flat for me. I have read most of Cupak's books that she has written and know what her potential can be. I will be honest and say that this one felt rushed and needed some work on certain areas. I know the author is listing this as an inter-connected standalone, but the way it is written, I feel that anyone who has not read the Alexa duet, won't capture these characters or their story correctly. I know that I am in the minority on this, but it's just my opinion.
Tangled with the Twins is Jeremy, Jessa and Becca's story. If you read the Alex Duet, then you will know who these three are. If you didn't, you'll get an idea of how they are connected to that duet, but I am not sure that you get an understanding of who they are as individuals and came to be where they are today. I feel that development of Jessa, Becca and Jeremy characters was very much glazed over in this book and was too dependent upon knowing their story in the Alexa Duet to fully grasp who they are.
Jeremy and the twins, Jessa and Becca, have had this unconventional relationship between the three of them but it's always worked out well for them. But as the years passed, things started to shift. Again, where the shift started, happened in the duet and readers who didn't read that, have to fill in the gaps as to what happened then to see where they are now. Cupak tries to explain briefly what happened but I feel that's an important part of the story and hurts the connection to these characters.
About the story - all three characters are finally figuring out who they are and what the want out of life. However, lack of communication and lots of secrets that are made worse by lies is what throws a wrench into all their lives. This plot works out well as they all go through these changes in their lives. The underlying plot that involves Jeremy's job is a continuation of the Alexa duet and readers will be confused on that part if they did not read the duet. There is a lot that goes on in this book; there is not a dull moment which helps keeps the reader invested in the story, but may also confuse new readers. The story is told from all 3 POVs so that definitely helps readers get a better understanding of each character and their thoughts.
Overall, I did enjoy the story, but I also read the duet so I wasn't too lost reading this. There is a lot that goes on and a lot that needs fleshed out in order for all readers to truly enjoy this book. If the book wasn't considered an inter-connected standalone, I can see this book working out fine the way it's currently written. However, there are too many assumptions that need to be made for readers who have not read the duet to understand the dynamics of these characters, their relationship and how it all ties together. If the author wants this to be an inter-connected standalone, the story needs to better written and the focus solely on Jeremy, Jessa and Becca with glimpses of Alexa and Ethan.
T.R. Cupak is a new to me author, but when I got an email about this book the title grabbed my attention. I didn’t read the blurb, I had no idea what to expect when I started reading it, but man was I surprised.
Jessa, Becca and Jeremy have a had a good thing going for years, but recently things started to shift and charge with their dynamic. The three have them definitely have some chemistry, they formed a bond after years and years together. Despite the changes that bond will always remain.
Tangled with the Twins was completely unexpected. This is a case of don’t judge a book by its title because after reading this it was nothing like I expected. This story was emotional and so much deeper than I could have ever imagined.
There is drama, lies, secrets and truths revealed that shake things up for the three of them, but they battle back, they fight for each other, they support each other. Even the secondary characters in this book are amazing. There is so much love between this close-knit group of friends. They will do anything to help each other.
Tangled with the Twins is a MUST READ and an unexpectedly emotional romance.
Tangled With The Twins by T.R. Cupak was a unique and at times, angsty emotional read. It brings the story that I have been eagerly waiting for- Jeremy, Jessa and Becca. At first, you think this is going to be a F/M/F read but no, it's really just a resolution to who Jeremy really truly wants to be with. The story does go off on some twists and emotional turns. One event turns their 3 lives upside down...can they recover ? Does Jeremy make the right decision and do the twins' relationship survive ? This was a good standalone to the Alexa series. Has heart, heat, drama, passion , miscommunication , and romance
4 1/2 STARS FOR TANGLED WITH THE TWINS!! Wow, I did not know what to expect in this story and what i got was great storytelling. Jeremy, Becca and Jessa has a relationship that works for them and not for everyone. Their story has all the feels and lots to tell you. This is my first book by this author and it was great...I will read more.
Tangled With The Twins is my first read by T.R. Cupak. This is a threesome, love triangle, unconventional love story. It is a standalone, but it does have interconnected characters from other books. This is a standalone, but unless you’ve read the other books, you have no idea what is going on with the other characters, and you won't have the back story.
Jessa, Becca and Jeremy have had a relationship together amongst the three of them for years, but events take place that shatter their comfortable relationship. There are big secrets and lies that could ruin more than one relationship. It is not the same and something has to give. Feelings change and someone is bound to get hurt. Who will be chosen? Who will be hurt and left out?
This book starts out with a lot of action. There are some very unexpected twists that take place. This was a quick read. it was enjoyable and I liked it. I liked the passion, the family bonds, and the friendships formed. My only issue was that I wish that I would've known that it is an interconnected story so that I could have read the other books.

Tangled With The Twins is my first book by T.R. Cupak. It’s an unconventional story at best, and although it’s a standalone, it does have characters and events from other books, that get mentioned and unless you’ve read them, you have no idea what they’re talking about. Jessa, Becca and Jeremy have been together for years, heck the book starts with a bang. Literally!! But, things happen and the three have to reassess their relationship. Can they continue with the status quo or will things change? Good or bad, they have to decide. This was a fast read and I was happy with how it all came together in the end.
4.5 stars Who wouldn't wanna date twins Jeremy thought it was gonna be all fun and games. And for awhile it works til they all decide they have feelings but noone is on the same page and it all blows up. When Becca and Jessa's parents find out it gets even more interesting and there is a blow up decisions are made and feelings are crushed. Through the good and bad they all gotta fight and remember what they want and hope it all works out in the end.
"I have been waiting for Jeremy, Jessa and Becca's story. Since starting an unconventional relationship with the twins, Jeremy has to navigate the ins and outs of the two girls, as they are almost opposites of one another.
One event, causes friction and unease between the three. How far is Jeremy willing to to to keep both girls in his life? Is the risk with the reward?
This was a fast read for me. I enjoyed the twists and turns of the story. It was fun checking in with Alexa, Ethan and Sebastian. I can't wait to read what is coming next."
This was a very interesting read. I really enjoyed it and it was my first book by T.R. but I'm going to definitely check out more. It was an emotional roller coaster of a ride with that humor at the core that I love so much. And it had an element of real life that some women can connect to in such a deep way on more than one subject. I would definitely recommend this book. - By Tina

I could not wait for this story to hit my kindle. I loved the Alexa duet. This story was about an unconventional relationship. A threesome between twin sisters Becca, Jessa and Jeremy. They have been together for years but now there is a shift in there relationships. The story is full of surprises, friendship, support, love, understanding and compassion. The opening scenes are smoking hot and sets the mood of the story. I thought I knew how the story was going to progress but I was thrown for a loop. I felt for Becca for all she goes through in the story but ending was incredible and heartfelt.
Jeremy, Jessa and Becca have had a thing going for years. Then it seems that things need to change for them. Things come to light that have them all looking at the arrangement they have had. It hasn’t been the same for months and now they are all seeing things need to change. Jeremy finds he is leaning towards one twin. Jessa has a big life change. Becca knows what she wants then life happens.
I can’t tell you how excited I was to read Tangled with the Twins. It’s been a long time coming. Now we get Jeremy, Becca and Jessa’s story. Their relationship is a bit unconventional. Some might say Jermey is a lucky man. Becca and Jessa are so different... they balance out the relationship with Jeremy.
You can read this has a stand-alone, but I highly suggest you read the Alexa series! It will make you fall in love with the characters even more. TR Cupak started writing the Alexa series some time ago. She has definitely saved the best for last. The synopsis doesn’t give us a hint to what The story is truly about; it was so much more than described. Tangled with the Twins is an emotional read with deep connections with each character. The flow of the story was well written. TR Cupak did throw in a bit of a twist that had me wanting to scream. She definitely knows how to keep her readers guessing.
This book has a special meaning to me. I was given an opportunity to read the Alexa series by TR Cupak with a promise I would review. I had no idea what I was doing at the time, but she trusted me with her creativity of her Alexa world, and she did not disappoint.
