A social media queen. A Harvard grad. An attractive opportunity.

Alexis Shaw is a social media influencer and host of the vlog Your Girl Next Door. She’s losing touch with the girl she was, and her audience has noticed, unfollowing and criticizing in response. Something has to change, so her friends push her to collaborate with a bed and breakfast in the enchanting town of Cherry Hill, Cape Cod. She quickly falls for its splendor and charm.

Finn Walker has recently graduated from Harvard, and moves back to his hometown of Cherry Hill, ready to mend his broken heart and focus on the family business. Finn’s stepfather is the proud owner of the dilapidated Cooper's Cottages, and to Finn’s disappointment, is considering an offer from arrogant businessman Royce Buckley to purchase the coastal property. Unfortunately, Royce has even bigger plans for the town, and Finn is determined to stop him.

With time against them, Alexis and Finn must push their distinct personalities to the side as they work together for a common goal. With the assistance of her media following, Alexis helps Finn breathe new life into the establishment, and they bond over a mutual love of the resort.

Will another man stand between their happiness in love and business? Alexis must decide what her future holds, and just may get some unlikely guidance from her loyal followers.

(audiobook+ebook) It was so cute! There’s a bit of drama, of course, but good feelings and positive attitudes are dominant here. That make the villains look even worse than they really are.

The small town vibe was well written, especially the various relationships and the town meetings. I got the feel of those people’s love for their town and their work and I enjoyed it.

I’m not sure that’s how influencers work–I’ll have to trust the author has made her research–but I liked Alexis’s various vlogs and posts as they were described. There was some mise en abyme here, with the author writing about Alexis writing about the town and its inhabitants, and Alexis definitely inherited the author’s point of view. They obviously both loved his small town. Finn loves it too, but since he’s known it all his life, there was less awe in his way of seeing it.

The romance was cute, with Alexis and Finn building a trusting working relationship on top of their immediate attraction to each other, and slowly succombing to it. Though there was nothing graphic, it was still quite sexy.

I probably should have read it instead of listening to it though. Both narrators did nothing to me, and their reading sometimes even annoyed me. Still a cute and sweet romance with compelling characters.

This was my first introduction to a "social influencer." Am I way behind the times or have just have been hibernating too long?? Anyway, you have to love the enthusiasm of media queen Alexis Shaw. She enchants nearly everyone she meets with her smile and ability to embrace "all new things." Right now, she's ready to help market a little B&B in Cherry Hill, Massachusetts. She will only be there for a few days, but is charmed by the quaintness of the town and most of the residents. But wait, before her assignment is over, she is recruited to do a little more marketing for Finn Walker's renewal project, Cooper's Cottages. He needs all the help he can get and agrees to letting Alexis help not only with the marketing, but with getting the project physically completed. Any problems here?? Oh yes, a wealthy developer that wants to turn this sweet little town into a big resort by buying up property and businesses in Cherry Hill and it all hangs on getting Finn's family property. Alexis and Finn make a good pair and come to realize that maybe there can be more to their relationship than just work. Finn's family is wonderful and Alexis' friends, crazy Poppy and Winston, are a twosome whose story I would like to read about. But regarding Fall For Me, I think it was a fun story to read and learn about this "social influencer" idea a little more.

Alexis and Finn will warm your heart. She's the Queen of Vlog's and pairs up with Finn. They're like oil and water but they blend together to save the entire town of Cherry Hill from an arrogant, sleazy developer. No shortage of drama, some twists and a sweet slow-burn love story. Their chemistry is off the charts. The book was fun to read and I read it in one sitting. Well written with likable characters. I read an arc and voluntarily chose to write a review.

I struggle with books written in 3rd person and that is how this book is written. I also listened to this on audible and the narrators just sound board which doesn’t help the story at all. I feel like this could have been super cute, it’s just missing the mark.
